Djali may be bad at saving people, but Gillian Morte is also very bad at his job.
Also, this character design of the newt-dragon is my favorite, by far, although he's so freakin simple to draw. Sort of a throwback reference to Kermit the frog, but he's only around for a tiny little while so enjoy Kermit-vibes doctor.
I have to confess I don't understand why she called herself a witch or why she has to say that she is one (seeing as how she seemed perfectly normal human when she was fleeing her husband but besides that, what an amazing chapter, what a funny ending and what great muppet faces, I loved each and every moment of this ^^
When a human falls into a cryptic world of monsters, she marries a local shapeshifter that very same day. She is trying to find her way back home in one piece. But who is this man who so quickly came to her rescue? What is under all of his shifting layers?
The world of chiaroscuro is full of mysteries, from the graveyard from out of time, the grave keeper who found a human in a spot no human has walked in 400 years, to the ghosts that haunt their dreams.
This is a mysterious fantasy/romance/isekai about deciphering lost histories, fallen hearts, and forgotten recipes.
