The name "Emile" means "eager," haha. It can also mean "rival," "hard-working," and "excellent." The main characters' names were deliberately chosen to oppose their chief traits. "Sophie" (the Scarecrow knockoff) means "wisdom," "Cordilia" (the Tin Woodman knockoff) means "heart," and Andrea (the Cowardly Lion knockoff) means "brave."
