When Ryuu left, the Kainos huddled and came up with a plan. Aiko was speechless, she was proud of herself. Etsuko tried to snap her out of it, but it didn't work. Hikari decided to say what Aiko would say. "Guys, I think we should worry about defense. We should find materials, and make our little spot in the forest into a 'room', so to say."
Katashi was violently shaking Aiko while he was listening to what Hikari said. When she finished talking, he screamed into Aiko's face. "SNAP OUT OF IT!!! DID YOU HEAR ANYTHING HIKARI SAID???" Aiko opened her eyes and punched Katashi. "I did. I am your alpha. Hikari, that's a great idea!" As she moved to the final sentence, she started to smile.
They all spread out, cutting trees and bamboo they found around their little clearing in the forest. They took vines and used them to tie the materials together. The clearing turned out to be a hut! They even made a top floor with the leftover materials. They made a fence around the roof, making a balcony that they would train on. The sleeping area was on the 2nd floor. That's also where they kept their food. The ground floor was where they kept all their prized possessions.
They looked at their hut, as other tribes were as well. The Lamashis were looking as well, but Ryuu scoffed and turned away. He worked on his training again, not worrying about the "dumb" Kainos. He planned a solo attack, meant to take place the next day.
