They made their way out of the front entrance and Vynsan slowed down to look for Arthir. He was standing near their car with a couple people, chatting and laughing with them.
Vynsan started walking towards him, Olli following close behind, and waved at Arthir when he noticed them.
“Ready to go?” Vynsan asked as Arthir started saying bye to his friends.
“Yeah, bye guys!” He waved and walked with them towards the boat. It made a quiet rumbling sound as Vynsan turned the keys in the ignition and started the boat. Olli had taken the seat up front again, Vynsan driving and Arthir with all their bags in the back. The drive back was relatively short, although they had to wait a bit before they able to pull out from the school docks because no one was stupid to leave all at once and cause an accident.
The wind felt nice, gently blowing across Olli’s face, just cool enough so that the suns shining down on him weren’t too hot. It felt like time had passed too quickly before they were pulling into the Indrason’s dock and hopping out of the boat. Olli reached back into the backseat and smiled when Arthir handed his bag to him.
“So, do you want to hang out here, or at our house? I can help you with homework, it must be hard moving in the middle of the year.” Vynsan offered, walking with Olli up to the front door as Arthir waited in the boat.
Olli rang the doorbell, waiting for someone to open the door as he didn’t have a key yet, “Ah, e-either is fine, if Sanel and Haron don’t mind…” He didn’t want to make a choice that Vynsan didn’t like.
“Alright, if you’re more comfortable here we can stay. I can also drive Arthir home really quick, or do you mind if he stays with us?” Vynsan didn’t want Olli to be uncomfortable, and he also didn’t know if Arthir would distract them from their homework.
“A-ah, anything’s fine as long as Sanel and Haron say it’s fine!” Olli glances up at him nervously, he really didn’t mind if Arthir was there or not because he was a nice kid, but he wasn’t sure if Sanel and Haron were fine with them coming over. It was their house, after all.
They both looked up as the door was pulled open, Sanel standing there breathless as if they had just run all the way to the door.
“Olli, you’re home! Hello, Vynsan, are you coming in or going home?” Sanel looked past them, down at the dock where Arthir was still sitting in the back seat.
“Does Arthir want to come in too? Or will you take him home?” Sanel looked up at Vynsan, who smiled and answered back.
“If you’re fine with that, we’ll stay for a little while.” Sanel nodded and turned to walk back to the kitchen, probably preparing something to eat for dinner, as it would be getting dark soon. Vynsan winked at Olli before turning back to call for Arthir to come in.
Olli was speechless and flustered, and hurriedly stumbled through the open front door, turning away to open his backpack and get his homework out before Vynsan could see his blush.
What was that?!
His heart beat rapidly and he took deep breaths to calm down. He knew he was over-reacting, and needed to stop before he was embarrassed.
Arthir bounced through the doorway and dropped his backpack next to the staircase, making his way up the stairs as he called out that he would be playing games upstairs.
By the time Vynsan had come back inside, Olli’s face had gone back to normal, although he was still a bit flustered. Vynsan dropped his bag off next to Arthir’s after removing his homework, then popped his head into the kitchen to tell Sanel that they would be studying upstairs. Olli was unsure where they would be studying, the house was huge after all, but he knew for sure that there was no room for two people and their homework in his room(which still had no desk).
Vynsan leads the way up the stairs, all the way to the third floor, where the bedrooms were. Olli was nervous, not wanting to speak up to say they couldn’t study in his room, but before he could even think about saying anything, Vynsan turned left into a room Olli had forgotten about.
It was a large room with three couches, all set in a half circle around a low table. There was a tv in front of the couches, and a small fridge sat in one corner of the room, but otherwise it was quite empty. The pastel blue walls were relaxing, and Olli sat down on one of the grey couches, spreading out his homework on the table.
Olli and Vynsan were focused, not talking much during the time they spent working on their homework and so were finished pretty quickly. The teachers hadn’t assigned much and they were given time in class to work on it, so they only had a little to do.
Ahh, Vynsan winked~ Olli is confused, help him lol
It's been a while eh? This might be a terrible chapter, I didn't force any of my friends to read it before I posted it -_- but I'll start working on part two now.
