Hiru had his true friends, loving parents and younger sister. He was a pixie, so fallen named Naori and werewolf named Shokai often teased him because of his height. Second out of his two werewolf friends, Sasaki, was his best friend, because he was always there for him. Hiru wasn't sure about Shokai's intentions most of time.
But Shokai and her moody personality wasn't Hiru's biggest problem. His younger sister, Ameko, was... blind. And it annoyed Hiru the most. He didn't understand, why gods treated his little lovely sister so cruelly.
"I'm happy, even if I can't see" said Ameko. "Seriously."
"I will find a way to make you more happy" replied Hiru, kissing her cheek as a farewell gift.
He decided to find Ayame Kessho and heal Ameko's eyes. Everyone knew about it, but they didn't say anything. They didn't know if Ayame Kessho would work if they say something.
"Hiru!" Hiru flinched, when Sasaki put an arm on his shoulder. "Did you really think you could go alone?"
"Yes, I thought that" nodded Hiru and Sasaki laughed.
"So you were wrong" Sasaki fluffed Hiru's black, medium lenght hair.
Sasaki was a werewolf. He had long, dark-brown hair, purple eyes and he was slim, not like his best friend.
Miyaku was a nixie. She had big, violet eyes and pale skin. Her body was petite. Not as much as Shokai's. Shokai and Miyaku were equal in height, but the werewolf woman had very light blonde hair, not almost yellow like the nixie. Her eyes were orange. And she was more...
"Naori!" shouted Shokai, looking madly at fallen, who was pulling her tail since the beginning of journey. "Stop doing this or I'll scratch you."
"You shouldn't get mad so easily" laughed Naori.
The fallen was tall and well-built. He had brown hair and green eyes. He looked young, even if he was older than the others. Naori was the one, who could protect two ladies, chubby pixie and skinny werewolf.
Even if the one who he truly wanted to protect was this moody werewolf woman.
Only Masari, his younger brother, knew since when Naori has been in love with Shokai. And maybe Amashiro - air dragon and long-term Masari's girlfriend, with whom younger fallen shared all secrets.
"Please, don't argue" said Miyaku quietly.
She reminded Hiru of a fairy from stories for kids sometimes.
Naori wanted to say that it wasn't a quarell, but a discussion typical for him and Shokai, but they heard a powerful bang combined with the crackle of branches and the sound of trees falling down one after another.
"For gods' sake, what happened?!" shouted Shokai.
Naori covered her mouth with a hand. If it was something which made a lot of noise and damage, they should be quiet.
"We should check that out" said Hiru, starting to run.
"Hiru, wait!" Sasaki called him, following him.
Hiru was running long until he started to trip on all the broken branches. He slowed down then. He was walking slowly, avoiding fallen and broken trees.
"What happened here?" asked Miyaku queitly, not wanting to have Naori's hand on her mouth.
And she didn't want to die in the first day of a journey.
"I smell blood" said Sasaki and took off his human form.
He sniffed one of the branches as a wolf.
"And what?" Naori asked.
"I was right. Blood" Sasaki muttered. "Dragon's blood."
"I know" said Hiru, pointing ahead with his finger. "I see."
On the ground was lying injured dragon. They didn't know if it was bleeding more because of fall or because of this huge wound on his right side. Dragon was uncouncious, in fact.
"Light dragon" whispered Miyaku, looking at white scales of the dragon. "I've never seen a light dragon."
"Beautiful light dragon" thought Hiru, leaning on the tree.
