Sam’s POV
My eyes snapped open with a gasp as I jumped myself awake breathing heavy. What happened?
The realization started coming in as I looked at what I was laying my forehead on, finding a metal table. My hands were tied behind my back. I sat up quickly in another panic.
Looking down on the table where my head was I could see dried blood left between and my head pounding hard.
I hissed in pain.
"Finally awake," a familiar voice said. "Do you sleep well?"
I looked over quickly to see the same gorgeous guy from before. I looked around the room avoiding his eyes since they were the reason I was in this mess.
Two other people were standing in the corner of the gray concrete-looking room. They weren't the same two from before. They weren't as big and intimidating as the other two were either but they still looked mean. Where the hell was I?
Once he realized I wasn't going to say anything, he sighed loudly. "Fine. That's none of my business anyway. So who are you?" He asked, getting a little annoyed but there was a softness in his tone at the same time.
I looked down at the dried blood on the table. I wasn't going to say shit to this man. It wasn't his business to know who I was either.
"What's your name?" He asked.
I stayed quiet again. I should have run as soon as I got that phone. Yeah, he was definitely something to look at but I shouldn't have stopped. Now, who knows what they’ll do to me. All over that stupid phone.
I won't tell them anything. They're going to kill me either way and I will not go down known as a rat either, I needed to at least hold a little of my dignity. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath to keep myself calm.
"Not going to speak," he growled slightly in a tsk as I opened my eyes to meet his now glowing light blues in anger. He leaned forward as his eyes narrowed. "Bravery will get you nowhere down here."
I swallowed hard as my heart started pounding harder against my chest. I looked into his eyes, suddenly wanting to say my name. I wanted to hear my name leave his lips as I looked right at them. They were the perfect size. Not too small or too big to match his perfect face. I bet they're as soft as they looked. I wonder how they would feel against my skin.
His eyes widened. "Stop that now," he said leaning back a little and rubbing his nose like he was smelling something gross.
I shook my head, shocked at my own thoughts. Why the hell was I thinking about that? This guy is more than likely about to torture me for information and I'm over here turning myself on imagining his lips on my body. What was wrong with me?
The two guys looked at each other confused before looking back at me with a weird look on their faces too as my face started to heat. Did they all hear my thoughts? I know I didn't say any of that out loud… Right?
I looked back at the man in front of me as he ran his fingers through his hair looking down at something. I could tell he was bouncing one of his legs quickly under the table.
Wow, his fingers looked really good doing that. I wonder how they would feel in my hair, brushing against my scalp so tenderly... Again! Why was I having these thoughts while I was clearly in danger? There was something wrong with me.
Without a word, he stood up and practically threw the heavy medal table that was between us out of his way. I looked up at him in fear as he walked closer.
My breath was heavy and my lips parted as I leaned back in the chair and tilted my head slightly to the side. Fuck why is my body reacting so crazy around him? He slammed his hand on both sides of my head, grabbing the back of the chair, leaning me back as he lifted the two front legs off the ground. My heart was racing. Waves ran down my whole body as I just stared at him getting closer and closer.
"I said stop it. I can't... control it when you smell like this," he growled as I watched his eyes start to change from light glowing blue back to the more dull blue as before and back again.
“I- I don’t know what-,”
He dropped his head down close to my neck. I gasped and flinched my face away from him thinking he was going to hurt me and start the beating. I didn't know what the hell he was doing. What smell was he talking about?
“Do you honestly not know or are you playing dumb to mess with my head?” He whispered, low enough so only I would hear him.
I looked over slightly at him to find our lips just barely apart before his phone started ringing. He dropped the chair legs back down on the ground hard. I thought that stupid phone broke when I dropped it.
He pulled it out and looked at the screen. "I'll be right back. Put him in the cage and we’ll see if he talks later," he said before quickly leaving the room while answering the phone. "This better be important or-," the door shut cutting off his threatening words to my ears.
I looked over to see the other two walking over with a smile. Now I was scared. I was scared with that man in the room too but I also felt like he was my safety line between these two, if that made sense. I didn't get it either but I didn't fear these guys too much before he left.
They grabbed me roughly and without even having to try, they pulled me to my feet dragging me towards the door.
Cage. Just hearing that word made my body want to panic. My breathing grew heavy, my heart pounded as we rounded the corner. As soon as I saw the iron-barred cells that lined both sides of the hall, my whole body broke into a cold sweat. I couldn't breathe and my chest felt tight.
I didn't want to go, I couldn't go in there. I dug my heels into the ground and tried to back away but was forced forward. I wanted to beg them not to put me in there, cry to them to just put me back in that room without bars but I wouldn't.
I won't bag to them, I won't give them that satisfaction so soon but as soon as they started pushing me inside the cell my fight or flight response kicked into overdrive.
I threw my head back while I kicked off the bars with one leg as hard as I could, making the one behind me fall backward with me landing on top, his nose gushing blood.
I rolled off him quickly as he grabbed his nose but I didn't stop. I jumped up as fast as I could without using my hands since they were still tied behind my back and made a run for it.
I didn't know where I was going but I'd be damned if I'm going in there. The second man pulled out of his shocked state quickly as I ran around the corner but I didn't make it far before I was tackled from behind by a pissed-off man with a bloody nose.
"You fucking piece of shit!" He yelled and grabbed a handful of my hair pulling me back painfully. "You’re gonna regret that."
He slammed the side of my head into the concrete ground, making everything blur and muffle around me. Next thing I knew I was getting thrown on a small bed.
"I'll make sure you never forget who I am, boy," I heard him in a slow haze.
I could feel him get on top of me on the bed as he grabbed my shirt and punched my face. The taste of blood filled my mouth as he pulled me up to the sitting position.
"Still not gonna talk?" He growled as his eyes started glowing in a mixture of green and yellow.
I didn't say anything as I focused on him trying to see straight again. Once he was more in focus I spit all the blood and saliva out of my mouth and into his face.
"Ahh," he let go as I dropped back down on the bed. "You- you fucking little shit!"
I don't remember much after that as he completely laid into me. Hitting me everywhere he could. He kicked me in my side before stomping on my arm. I could feel the bone snap making me scream in pain but he didn't stop there as he kept stomping.
The last thing I saw was a boot coming to my face before everything went black.

I forced my eyes open again, the dark tunneled around my vision but I could've sworn I saw blue eyes close to my face. I couldn't keep them focused for long before my eyelids grew too heavy. I heard a muffled voice that sounded close but my ears were just as cloudy as my head.

It felt like I was moving. The pain was too great and I started to panic as my fist grabbed something that felt like fabric. Was I dying? I don't want to die but it was all I could think. "S- Sam," I muttered through my teeth. I didn't know if anyone could hear me or not but I didn't want to be buried in an unmarked grave. "It's- it's S- Sam." I forced out as I felt myself start to fade again but this time I just let the darkness take its hold. I didn't fight it anymore, I didn't have the energy to.
