“Come this way, Come this way.” He said guiding Jun through a hole in a wall to the so-called Witch Dr. cat.
A tall, sorta plump gray cat with sharp, pale blue eyes stood on a basket using her paws to stir a wooden stick in a large bowl.
A female voice rang out of the Javanese, “What do you want Bahram?!” She yelled, not taking her eyes off the weird looking liquid.
“I brought you a new customer.”
OZ’s ripped and white tipped ears twitched, “Customers?” She sprang down from box to box til she landed right in front of the two, “Hello.”
“I’m a Witch called OZ.” SHe said raising her paws above her head in a way that formed a rainbow. She tilted her head and gave a wide grin a few teeth missing from her mouth.
Bahram leaned against Jun whispering quietly, “She’s a little crazy.”
OZ threw a rusted can towards Bahram, “I’m not crazy.” She wiped her paws on her stomach fur and sat on the box she was standing on.
“So?”
Jun walked forward at the light push of Bahram’s paw, “I-’’
“I want to be human.”
OZ tapped her chin with her paw, “Human? That’s a bit hard’’ OZ jumped off the box to the back of the tarped area and dug around her lost toys and junk.
“AH!”
She gave a snicker-like laugh and held a human mask in between her teeth walking towards Jun on her hind legs, her eyes shining brightly.
She dropped the mask in front of Jun’s paws, “Here is what you're looking for.” She pushed it closer towards Jun’s paws.
“That’s a mask.”
“A magic mask~” OZ sang happily, her tail swaying behind her.
Bahram chuckled in the background using his thin black paw to hide his laughter.
OZ shot him a glare before smiling, “Go on, Try it” she coerced.
“Although...There is a price to pay but we can talk about that after you try it out.”
Jun slowly put on the mask and it latched on.
…
Jun sat on the bench near the park as he waited for the other to come home. His head sat on his hand boredly, Jun stared off into space before his knee was tapped gently.
Jun looked down to see it was Si-Eun. He gave a gentle smile.
‘’Do you have a home?’’
He currently looked like a high-school, and it probably looked as if he was homeless right now since he was, A. Barefoot and B. Had been sitting in a park by himself for the past 3 hours when he should've been at school.
Jun shook his head. She nodded and looked directly into his heterochromic eyes, “Then- do you wanna stay with me and my daddy?’’
His eyes brightened and nodded quickly jumping off the bench, Si-Eun grabbed his hand and led him back home.
...
Si-Eun unlocked the door and turned on the apartment's lights. ‘’My dad’s not here right now, He’s at work and won’t be home til later, So you can take a bath in his room. I’ll try to find some clothes, Kay?’’
Jun looked around Sirang’s bedroom curiously going through basically everything. He rolled his eyes at himself as he thought, ‘’The curiosity of a cat never fails itself.’’
Si-Eun walked in with two towels and put them in his hands, ‘’These are for you. Now go shower, you kinda smell.’’
Jun:......Of course I do. I’ve been outside without an owner for 100+ years. What am I supposed to smell like, daisies?
…
Jun came out of the shower after a little over an hour, He wiped his hair down with the towel before Si-Eun pulled down his arm, ‘’I’ll do it. Your hair’s too long to do by yourself.’’
‘’Sit down.’’ Si-Eun pulled him to sit in front of the couch on a pillow before turning on the hair dryer. ‘’Are you mute’’
“...’’
‘’That’s okay, we can be friend’s anyways. Do you want me to get you pen and paper?’’
Jun shook his head. ‘’Why waste paper when I can’t write’’ He thought to himself.
“Alright then, I’ll help, Do you want a name since I don’t know yours?’’ Si-Eun said looking over at him, Jun gave her a smile and nodded happily.
‘’Jun, how bout Jun?’’
The young teen grinned and nodded, Soon the unlocking of the front door sound and the deep and magnetic voice he had come to love sounded. ‘’I’m home, Si-Eun.’’
Sirang stopped in his tracks when he saw a male stranger in his home alone with his daughter. ‘’Who-?’’
‘’This is Jun, Can we keep him?’’ Sirang kneaded his forehead, ‘’Si-Eun this is a person not some stray you randomly picked up.’’
‘’But he has no where else to go!’’ The little girl protested.
‘’Si-Eun, he’s a total stranger. Do you even know where he came from?’’ Sirang retorted.
Si-Eun blinked and said as if it was a matter-of-fact, ‘’He came from the park across the street.’’ Her father sighed, getting a bit annoyed with this argument. He looked to the seemingly-young teen and felt his heterochromic eyes were slightly familiar.
‘’Fine, I’m not gonna argue. I’m tired.’’ Sirang told her giving in for the night, ‘’One night, ONE, he leaves tomorrow night. Got it?’’
She jumped off the couch and ran over to hug her father and with a huge smile on her face. She giggled, ‘’Thank you Daddy.’’
She pulled Jun on his feet and pushed him towards her father, ‘’Jun this my Daddy, Daddy this is Jun. Please get along for now on’’
Juns eyes sparkled as he looked up at the other, a smile appeared on his face as he hugged the other, nuzzling against him a purr slipping out of his mouth.
Sirang sneezed when he felt Jun’s hair tickle the ridge of his nose. Jun backed up and smoothed his clothes awkwardly. ‘’Well then, Seems he’s still allergic.’’
…
Sirang sat in his bathroom waiting for the water to heat up scrolling through the missing people list on his phone. He leaned his head back giving a deep sigh. ‘’I seriously let a random stranger in my house, didn’t I?’’
Sirang remembered the young man’s heterochromic eyes and of all things that could be bothering him it was that those eyes were so familiar yet, he couldn’t remember where from.
