Jun stiffened as he felt shivers run up and down his back.
Smack.
His hand flew fast as he smacked Sirang across the cheek, the force making the man turn his head to one side. Stepping backward and holding his bright red cheek sarcastically, He said, “Glad you missed me.” He said sarcastically as he lifted his hand making sure no skin broke from the force of Juns’ slap.
Jun stepped back with his hand covering his ear and a sharp gaze, he says, “It’s your fault for whispering in my ear like that.’’
After seeing he had no broken skin, he recovered his smile. “I missed you while I was away.’’
‘’I can not say I felt the same.’’
After passing the other, he walked into the living room and into the indoor sunroom.
It had started to rain, and the smell of the sand and dirt, and mid-spring rain filled the room. As raindrops hit the screen, it soon became damp.
Standing right behind him, Sirang crossed his arms across his chest and said, “I’m glad I got here when I did or I would’ve had to turn back because of the rain.”
Leaning his head against the frame he stared at Juns’ back with a dazed look in his eyes, This was something he had seen many times but had never been able to touch.
- He was always so close.
- Yet so far.
As he walked over, his arms were wound around him not wanting to let go,he buried his head in the crook of his neck. Closing his light baby-blue eyes he let his mind and body relax, it was such a wonderful feeling knowing this young man was in his arms.
Silence filled the air as only the rain could be heard.
Slowly breathing in and out, he had a rare moment of complete peace and relaxation. The smell of the moist sand and dirt, the sound of the rain and the tree leaves swaying as the wind blew along with it, all evoked a serine feeling.
“Why can't it always be this way?” He said to himself.
…
Lee Gi-Gun felt like he was in the midst of a complete work meltdown. After Sirang had run out of the Chairman's office and ran off to go see his childhood sweetheart he had been stuck with all his work.
“I’m going to fucking kill him’’ He mttered angerily, clenching his fist while crumpling an important document.
Everyone stepped back as they could possibly go to escape the Head Secretaries wrath, as they could visibly see a vein popping out of his forehead. Ultimately, they decided to run back to their desks in fear.
Gi-gun pulled off his glasses and rubbed the bridge of his nose, wondering how he ended up working for such an incompetent boss.
He silently wished Sirang to be impotent in his next life.
He got back to work thinking to himself “Can’t you just give up already? Or bring him to work with you?”
“All I want is less overtime or a damn raise for all the work you make me do! I’m a secretary, not somebody to pick up your slack when you decide to run off!! " He filed papers at his desk with a scowl, ranting silently.
Hearing the elevator ding as the doors slowly opened, and heels clacking coming his way the man lifted his head up.
He pushed up his glasses, and had a soft glare as he was in a bad mood but didn’t want to anger the guest., not being in a good mood.
“Do you need something?”
Having curved her lips into a smile and speaking with a mature voice, the woman said, “Yes, I happen to be looking for Oh Sirang.”
