Introducing Smith and Jones - who look a bit different to how they do now. The drawing is a bit hesitant here, as I hadn't drawn these characters for 27 years. It would take 50 or so strips for me to regain my drawing mojo.
This is the only strip I've remastered in any way apart from to change the formatting from a newspaper strip to something more phone-friendly. The original drawings of Jones had some pen-rendered shading around the points, they way I had to do it when I originally drew her in 1980, before colour had ben invented.
