"Oh, hi Mr. S. Ok, well I hope you find what you're looking for." Said Tekashi on the phone. 

"Tekki! Look! I made a doll." Said Tala as she held up a clay doll. 

"I see. Very good!" Said Tekashi. 

Today he was tasked to watch Tala while Fawth could take care of some errands. He also had hoped to make a stronger bond with Tala as well. 

"Why don't you watch cartoons while I clean this up." Said Tekashi as he flipped the TV on. 

Tala sat in front of the TV mesmerized by the colorful characters while Tekashi washed off the table. Tala laughed and laughed as a character got hit in the head. 

"The yellow man and the pink man are funny!" She said. 

Tekashi smiled and kept cleaning. 

He thought to himself "Yes! The perfect cartoon for kids and adults!" 

Tala made a big yawn and with that, it was nap time. 

"Alright Tala why don't you take a nap for a little bit and we'll play later." He said. 

She slowly walked into the other room and Tekashi followed her to tuck her in. As he walked out the door, however, she started to tear up. 

"What's wrong? Don't wanna be alone?" He asked. 

She nodded her head, wiped her tears, and held out her arms. Tekashi scooped her up and hummed a song. In no time, she fell asleep and he tucked her in again. 

"Phew. Better call Fawth to check where he's at." He said to himself. 

"Hey, what up my brosky! How's it going?" Fawth asked. 

"It's going great! She's actually taking a nap right now and before we were playing with clay." Tekashi explained. 

"Woah. She really must like you if she could fall asleep." He said. 

"Well, it took a lullaby but yeah she's out cold." Said Tekashi. 

"Ok. I'm almost done so I'll swing around in an hour and pick her up." Said Fawth as they hung up. 

Tekashi thought about Mr. S and whether he found what he was looking for yet. 

"I hope he can get us both home." He said to himself.

Meanwhile…

"Hand me that scanner." Said Mr. S. 

"Ok. It says there's a mineral below here that could be of some use." Mr. S said to another person. 

He started digging a hole that opened up into a cavern. 

"Look over there! It's some sort of glowing rock. Let's grab it and take it back to the lab. Oh, and we should call our Brightworlder friend and tell him about it." He said. 

"Hey, this is Mr. S. We've found something that could help us. Do you know about anything geological on this planet?" He asked. 

"No, sorry I haven't been here that long." Tekashi said. 

"No worries. My assistant and I will take a sample back to the lab and see if we can use this." Mr. S explained. 

"You have an assistant?!" Tekashi exclaimed. 

"Yes, uh, you can refer to him as, um, Mr. M." Said Mr. S. 

"Alright. Actually, I know a certain professor who might be able to help you identify that mineral for you. I'll give him a call and maybe bring him with me to your lab." Said Tekashi. 

"Very well. We shall meet at the lab then." Mr. S said. 

"Mr. M? That's a cool name!" Said Mr. M. 

"Yeah, yeah. Don't get used to it." Mr. S said.

Later that day…

"Tekashi my boy! What can I do for you?" Asked Professor Drinx. 

"Well I was gonna call you but I thought it would be best to just come to the institute. I've got a mineral that I need you to identify for me. Do you think you could come to my acquaintance's lab with me?" He asked. 

"Of course! If it's for science I'd be happy to." Said Drinx. 

"Great! Let's get going then!" Said Tekashi as Drinx followed him. 

Before they could leave the institute though they were stopped in their tracks. 

"Where are you both going? How come I'm not invited?" Said Maeda blocking the door. 

"Oh, hey Maeda! Long time no see!" Tekashi said. 

Maeda wasn't too happy though and asked them again. 

"We were just going to do some science stuff." Tekashi tried to explain. 

"Uh-huh. And you need the professor to go with you?" Maeda questioned. 

"Hehe. Well, uh, you see, um..." Tekashi said nervously. 

"I think what he means is we have some important business and if you'd kindly let us through we'd be on our way. Don't take this the wrong way, Miss Maeda but we don't have time to lose." Said Drinx. 

Maeda looked defeated and let them pass. Tekashi gave an apologetic look as he passed her and off they went to the lab. On the way there, Fawth and Tala were taking a walk and bumped into them. 

"Fancy seeing you here!" Fawth said. 

"Tekki!" Said Tala as she popped out from behind him. 

"Hey thanks again for babysitting." He said. 

"Oh, no problem. We kinda have to get going but we'll see you around." Said Tekashi. 

As Tekashi and Drinx walked down the road, Maeda jumped out in front of Fawth. 

"Ah! What the heck?" Fawth said Startled. 

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I'm following those two because I think they're up to something." She said. 

"Hm. They did seem to be in a hurry to get somewhere." Said Fawth. 

"C'mon let's tail them together." She said. 

"But what about Tala?" Said Fawth. 

"She can come with us. Let's go!" She pressed.

Tekashi and Drinx stopped in front of the old barn and Tekashi turned towards Drinx.

"Here it is!" Said Tekashi.

"I hope you didn't drag me all the way out here for a joke." Drinx said. 

"Come inside you'll see." He ushered. 

As they stepped inside a lab came into view and Mr. S and Mr. M were waiting for them. 

"There you are. Is this the professor you speak of?" Asked Mr. S. 

"Hello Mr. S I am Professor Drinx. I am told you need help with some geological findings." Said Drinx. 

"Take a look at this." Said Mr. S as he handed him the mineral. 

"Hm. I see. Truly a rare find. This here is called Dark Magistal. It is the rarest of all the Magistals found on this planet. I assume you don't know what Magistal is if you couldn't identify this specimen so let me briefly explain. Magistals are magical crystals that are scattered all over the world and they help imbue us with magic. Obviously, if someone gets ahold of a red Magistal they will acquire the use of fire magic and anything related. The same goes for all the other kinds of Magistals except for two. They are known as Light and Dark Magistals. They are both quite rare and only a handful of people have found them. But anyhow, Light Magistals are said to give the ability to control time and Dark Magistals are supposedly able to control space." Drinx explained. 

"Fascinating. This might just work!" Exclaimed Mr. S. 

"Might I ask what it is you're doing?" Drinx asked. 

"Professor. Tekashi. I must be honest with you. My name is not Mr. S." He said.

"My name is Slinky and my assistant is actually my partner, Laughing Matter. We need to get home." Said Slinky.
