There's only one teacher who is fond of Oli, and that is Mr. Cliff, the teacher of the sword fighting class. Mr. Cliff isn't very popular amongst the students, because the kids prefer the other classes where they can learn new skills that can only be done with wings. In fact, the other students very seldom show up to Mr. Cliff's classes, and no one bothers to discipline them about it. Because of this, the sword fighting class has become a refuge for Oli, where he gets to work hard and be himself freely without being bullied. He is very skillful and passionate when it comes to this class, making him a great student, and Mr. Cliff finds it a joy to be his mentor and teacher.
