Finn’s Point of View
So now I lived in the same house as Romeo. I felt a little like an alien or an intruder, so I got to always remind me that they were the ones who asked me to live with them. It still felt wrong in some parts, but it got better. I just hoped that Romeo would never see me like a brother. That would have messed up everything since I was full in love with him. I knew that he saw me just as a friend and I was okay with this. It's ok to start a relationship slow and don’t get full nuts into it. Especially with Meos background. He told me the story ones in the woods, after we played in our animal forms. It was hard to hear and I was upset I didn't save him back then, but how could I have done it? I was all the way in Canada with my mom. I didn't even know Meo back then. But I feel like I had to be there, I feel a special bond to him, since I first saw him. Even if he is a wolf and I’m a fox, a beta as well. I knew it was way too early to say if he was my destined mate or if it was just because his omega pheromones were this strong. I mean, it must have been his pheromones I thought back then because we are beta and omega. How can we be destined? He's destined to be with an alpha. Oh how wrong I were back then. But this comes at another point again. Back to our time living under the same roof while we were in high school.
“Meo?” I asked him. We were watching TV again, my arm laying around him. I gazed at him for a long time now without him recognizing. Now I wanted to look into his beautiful eyes. He looked at me and I saw his mesmerizing eyes. I felt like I could sink into this yellow which reminded me of a light colored honey. He was just beautiful. “What´s up?” He asked when I didn’t answer, still banned with his eyes. “Oh uhm, I just wanted to ask if you want something to drink” I replied, searching for an excuse why I talked to him. “Sure.” He replied, so I stood up from the couch and got down to the kitchen in which his mother Olivia was cooking. “Smells nice!” I said in a gentle tone and she turned around to me. “Oh! It's you Finn. Everything’s alright with you guys?” She asked gentle. I nodded as an answer. “I just wanted to pick up some drinks for us” I said, walking up to the fridge. Olivia gave me a huge smile. “You know where to find it.” she replied, then got back to cooking. Seemed like she had a better day today. Most of the time she's really down because of her loss, but on good days like this she stands in the kitchen humming something and gives out a better vibe. I took a coke for Romeo and a lemonade for myself out of the fridge and got back upstairs to Meos room. When I sat down, I handed him the coke. “Thanks” he replied my action and gave me one of his beautiful smiles he got only for me. I smiled back, trying not to get lost in his gaze again and sat down beside him again. I wanted to peck his cheek and hug him tight to me, but I also wanted to give him the space and time he needed. I was just happy, that he leaned on me again so I could lay my arm around him again. It was the small things that counted and the small steps we made. I would have waited forever for this boy if I had to.
Later that evening we got to bed, as every time I waited till he asked me to lay down beside him. I worried the day he would want to sleep without me, since I got my own room, but he asked me every night to lay down beside him and I always did, just happy to hold him onto my chest in my arms. I gave him a little tiny kiss on the back of his head. He never seemed to notice it, so I could go on with it, every time concerned to leave it light, so he wouldn't notice and be upset.
The next day we walked up to college like every day. But this day things were different. “GAYS” a boy one class above us shouted over the street while we were walking down to get to school. My proud, strong Meo pulled his head down between his shoulders. I was furious. “Give me a second” I said to Romeo and walked over the street to the guy, how was a head higher than me. “Even if I am! Got a problem with it?” I asked him directly. He just smirked. “And what do you want to do now, little gay freak? Want to protect your boyfriend?” He made me even more furious. I made a fist raised my hand and landed it straight into his face. The Guy was so shocked, he stumbled two steps back. I growled and landed another hit, which punched him to the ground. Romeo was just looking at us from the other side. “Don´t you dare, call him ever a name again” I growled, but the guy still smirked. “Why? Everyone knows he's a slut. He got fucked in the man’s cabin two years ago. And if I trust my information’s he loved it.” It made me even more furious. If I could have been more furious by now. I landed a few punches again and even a kick right in the balls. When I was ready with him, he cried like a little kid. “Stop, please stop” he begged me and I stopped. “Don´t you dare to try ever call him names again or spread rumors like this, you got it?” The guy nodded panic-stricken. Now it was for me to nod. “Good” I growled and got back to Romeo who was still standing on the other side of the street. “Thanks” he whispered. “I hope it was the last time” I answered, shove my hand into his and we got our walk on down to the campus.
Near the campus Romeo pulled his hand back. I was fine with it. I knew he was still insecure about showing open to others that he even can walk hand in hand with a friend, since they could call us names, since we are omega and beta. I was fine with it. I just wanted to protect him and I was still happy, he let me take his hand before.
At the campus we met Raven and Jessy. Jessy waved her hand as she saw us, walking up to them. “Hey you two!” She greeted us. I smiled at her and we hugged each other as a greeting. Romeo did the same, while I greeted Raven. “Why are you this late?” Jessy asked. I sighed. She bowed her head aside, asking silent for me to go on. “There was one of the idiots one grade above us. He called us names and blackmailed Meo and I had to beat him up” I explained. Jessy looked worried at Romeo, then back at me. “Are you two ok?” She asked concerned. Meo nodded, I gave him a gaze, then I looked back at Jessy. “I´m fine as well, Meo waited on the other side of the street,” I explained. Now Raven looked at me. He barely does this, so I was worried what he was about to say.
