Ali carefully backed Cranberry out of the trailer and walked her to the barn. Once inside they headed straight for the mare’s stall. Ali opened it and led Cranberry in, then unhaltered her and closed the door. As she hung up the halter and lead rope Ali admired the new stall nameplate. It was a wooden carving with the name Cranberry on top and below that was the mare’s registered name, Musician of the Forest. Surrounding the names were detailed carvings of vines, leaves, and berries.
