Jun woke up the next morning with the windows already opened wide, the sun shining down brightly in his direction. Stretching out his arms he let out a long yawn.
Slipping out of the bed, his feet slipped into the house slippers that laid under the bed. The morning air was cold even in the warm climate area he was in.
He strolled sleepily into the closest to get dressed, after seeing yesterday he noticed that all were clothes his size.
All the shirts were either long-sleeved sweaters or plain short-sleeved shirts despite having similar design and style.
Although the recent freedom he got was nice, he did slightly feel freaked out. It was just an odd feeling he had im his gut…he couldn’t quite explain it.
…
“It’s completely pointless.”
“Yes Sir,”
“Ludicrous.’’
“Indeed.’’
“Are you even listening?” Sirang asked with a sharp look at his secretary, Lee Gi-gun.
“Of course I’m listening.” Gi-gun replied, pushing up his thin black-rimmed glasses looking at Sirang with a near expressionless face. “If I may though, I honestly think it’s pointless to go against the Chairman and Madam seeing as how somewhere along the line you're going to give in. You always do.”
‘’Well not this time.’’ He started
‘’Besides,’’ Sirang leaned back in the seat he currently sat in, “Aren’t you supposed to be on my side, I mean you ARE MY secretary.”
“I’m on the side of whoever pays me best.” He replied, very bluntly
Sirang gave him a side eye before turning away leaning on the railing of the boat. Looking out towards the blue waters he felt somewhat melancholic. The black hair that now fell in his face blew with the strong wind that came from the boat rushing forward.
His cold, baby blue eyes narrowed as they got closer and closer to the island. He had been away for 2 weeks to work, and he was starting to feel like he was having withdrawal symptoms although Gi-gun said it wasn’t possible to have withdrawals from not seeing or being near a person.
He said he was a drama king.
He leaned on his arms and closed his eyes, “I miss him,” Sirang thought as they came closer and closer to the dock.
…
Jun stood at the sink, washing the dishes he had used for breakfast. He stood there in a daze thinking about what had happened these few weeks.
He felt as if he was too numb to the whole predicament he was in, it didn’t seem sane.
He felt he should’ve reacted stronger, been angry longer.
“The fact of being endlessly angry would get me nowhere though,’’ He reasoned with his inner self. Turning his head quickly with surprise, he never thought he would hear the front door click as someone opened the door,
Sirang walked through the villa's front door, closing the door slowly behind him planning on surprising Jun. Picking up a pan, Jun almost fell over trying to holded the heavy pan over his head.
Slowly walking toward the front hallway as he saw a glimpse at the other figure he raised the pan over his head planning on smacking the ‘intruder’ .
Seeing the familiar person he dropped the pan getting dragged down along with it.
Jun set the pan on the quartz counter and held his chest in silent relief,
“This man scared the shit out of me.’’ He thought
“But to be fair...who else would come here besides him.’’
When Jun had his back turned, Sirang hugged his waist from behind and kissed his ear, “Miss me?”
