Prelude: Noo-un, the fighter of Fire, is the third of the warriors, he is the third oldest, and he is adventurous and outstanding with who he is, this is how he became Noon.
CHAPTER 1 - The Warrior Identity
3. Born a month after Takashi came Noo-un, a boy ready for war, born into it when his mother Salma went into labor during a harsh war against the Adenian's when they were attacking the city of Sodun, of the Sujodi Nation in the southernmost part of the Hislapean Nation, where Noo-un was born in.
His father, Abhad, was in the war, and was badly injured during it, but it didn't stop him from seeing his son.
"Here he is, in my arms, finally...I get to meet you."
"What do you mean..?" Salma stutters in, "he is our son, he will always be with us, right..?"
"Salma, I am highly injured, I might not make it, but this is the perfect way to go, seeing you, and seeing my last son, Noo-un."
"But...What about the foster kids we take care off? They need you..." She pleads, although knowing inside, that he is surely dying.
"They'll be in great care in your hands...My dear wife..." Abhad says, then he closes his eyes gently saying again, "I love you, Salma, and I love you Noo-un, be a good boy, even without me, and also, be the best man you can be..."
Abhad closes his eyes shut, not opening them again as he leans back against the wall of the dark room they're in, almost losing his grip of Noo-un, then causing Salma to cry as she carefully takes Noo-un in her arms.
...
As the war was over exactly a year later, the one year old and his foster siblings were still living their life even after their foster father's death. Although it wasn't the same without Abhad, causing Salma to only focus on Noo-un instead of their six foster children. It caused the children to treat him bad, not looking after him when he needed it.
So one night as Noo-un was in his bed, Salma was very sick, and needed help being taken care of, so the kids would take care of her, but when it came to Noo-un, they would ignore his cries, and leave him in his room by himself. Salma would try to get him, and always pass out while the kids would laugh at his cries.
So Noo-un became very sick, and had to be taken to the village clinic, where he was healed after Salma felt better. Then the six kids became guilty and confessed of their wickedness towards Noo-un, so the kids were punished by the village people, since the Sujodi people were very harsh in their citizens treatment, especially towards the women, even to children.
So the six of them were put in a old tent by themselves, we're they were jailed in until Noo-un turned two, which was six months from then. When Noo-un turned two, only four kids came back with forgiveness of their sins.
Salma's mother came back to help her after hearing of Abhad's death and the way the children were behaving, since they lived far away from each other. His grandmother made their life easy, and helped them for years, even over ten years.
By the time Noo-un was thirteen, the news of the mysterious lurking warriors was known, and it bounded everyone to find the warrior. The Chief forced all his guards to search through the city and villages for clues, but none was found.
The only clue they have is the charms that land on the tribes from time to time, if one is different that means the warrior is around. But this confused them, so the Chief made the young children train, from ten to twenty years of age, is how long the crystal lingered.
The citizens and villagers were forced to train and become strong in their livelihood due to the mysterious warrior identity, to see which one of them is the warrior.
CHAPTER 2 - Who Is That Boy?
3. On a training camp on the outside of the Sojudi Nation, is where all the kids came to train. As Noo-un is fourteen is this camp, he stays in the room with the teenagers. And everyday he got up to train with and against the children with him.
Then his Mentor came, the one in charge, training him, he walks up with the camp director and says, "hello, men and women, as you've been here for a week in training, to me you still accomplished nothing, the warrior we are looking for shall be the strongest of our nation. It is today and everyday that you will show us what you have accomplished, because this camp can last for years, be prepared my warriors, especially you females..." Then he walks off and tells them, "fight!!"
Then all of them start fighting each other, as the camp director watches them, with this going on for hours with everybody hurting each other, trying to see who is the strongest.
As Noo-un falls asleep that night, two kids across from him in their bunkers start talking about the way he fights and how good he is at it.
"He is already equivalent to our Mentor and his fighting," the boys as the girl starts saying, "not even, he is just a kid like us who still needs more training."
"Nuh Uh" The boy says back.
"Oh yes, don't take Noo-un too far, he isn't that good, I saw a lot of us girls beating him down."
"Oh really?"
"Yes, I did, from when I could see."
"Uh huh..."
She nudges him, "don't uh huh me? I mean it?"
He places his hand on her mouth after, "quiet before he hears you." "Oh shush, he's asleep." "Are you sure?" The boy says worried.
Noo-un quickly lays back and falls asleep, causing the girl to say, "obviously." Before the both of them finally fall asleep.
...
That morning, as all the kids line up together, their Mentor walks up on his platform and starts saying to them, "has everyone got a good night sleep? Because you're going to need it after what you'll be doing today, climbing, swinging, running, crawling, using new weapons for you, and of course fighting, got it?"
"Yes!" All the kids say.
"Good, now when I come back all of you guys will start." The Mentor leaves and the kids start talking within each other, some excited, some crying with fear, and some ready to just give. Then the two kids from the night before begin to talk with the girl saying, " I wonder how Noo-un will do this time."
"Just as awesome as always."
"I bet, he has no chance as a warrior though, have you heard of his background, about his foster siblings, he lived happily with his grandma for years, I bet with no fear, he just tries to look it, and look it well he does, for a boy with such scars, strange beauty, and fire red hair, and loved by the sun as he glows," she gazes off while saying this, causing her brother to side eye her with a smirk on his face, she continues speaking, "um...Anyways you were saying..."
"Um...too late now, the mentor is coming back."
Noo-un turns away from them as they are at least four kids away from each other, then the mentor starts saying, "follow all the obstacles until the end, begin!!"
Everyone runs to the obstacles with as much energy as possible. The two kids follow Noo-un as he does everything perfectly showing how strong he is as he is climbing the bars, "look! I told you he is strong, Nalaiya!" The boy shouts to the girl from the other side. "Huh, I can see that, I never said- ahh!!"
Nalaiya falls from the bars and lands flat on her back, hurting herself badly.
"Nalaiya!!" The boy shouts from the other side.
The Mentor keeps telling her to get up while the camp director runs to help her instead, "a little help here..." Noo-un gets off his obstacle, but instead of going forward, he runs to help Nalaiya instead, along with some other kids.
"Are you going to be okay?" He says to her.
Nalaiya looks at him saying, "thanks...Actually I'm fine, I don't need your help, everyone continue okay, continue without me."
"Okay." Noo-un runs to his other obstacle, while the mentor starts saying, "everyone back in position! Now!!" All the kids run back in line, as Nalaiya watches Noo-un leave saying, with the mentor asking, "who is that boy?"
While being amazed by his skills.
CHAPTER 3 - Three Kids And A Fate
3. A few hours later, the kids visit Nalaiya in the infirmary, and the boy starts saying, "Is she okay? How come she is not awake? Like, like is she really hurt?"
"She'll be fine, just a few scratches and scars, but no broken bones."
"Huh, oh okay, that's good"
"So..She can still participate, right...?" The Mentor says while smoking a cigar.
"Sir, not in at least, two weeks."
"Lesser females the better..." He mumbles.
"Well, it is pretty crowded in here, I think some of you guys..."
As the nurse is talking Noo-un starts saying, "she's up?"
"Huh." The Mentor adds.
"Little sister, you're awake." Her brother hugs her as she starts saying, "I was only asleep, I'm fine."
"Good, let's go, now." Everyone starts leaving until Nalaiya starts saying, "could Noo-un stay with me for just a fragment of time, please."
"What? No-"
"Yes, she has the right to do so in this infirmary, it is if Noo-un wants to stay." The nurse says, cutting off the mentor.
They look at Noo-un and he says, "sure, I'll talk."
He sits beside her bed and says, "your name is Nalaiya right?"
"Yes, and I know who you are, how? Because of our families, we grew up across from each other, but you never paid attention to us."
"I've been through a lot at those times, plus my grandma didn't really want me making friends, she said friends would hold me up."
"No, if the friend is loyal, then they really help bring peace to each other." Her brother says, still in the room.
"We don't know, we don't have friends either, Sano." Nalaiya says.
"Listen, what is the real deal here?" Noo-un says back to her, wanting to get on with the conversation
"Okay, I've been talking down on you this past month, because...Sano and I found this ripped piece of paper on the ground behind the building when we got here, and it was from the book of the Southern Island, about the warrior identity, of course being curious we read it, and the description of the warrior is not told, but their personalities are described a bit, and one of them sounds like you, quiet, handsome, and strong, and nice to even ones who are mean to him, him, think about it, that describes you, we should show this to our leader, it'll make it much easier."
"Nalaiya, they are stubborn, our people love work and seeing to believe, their delusional minds won't think it's me, I can't just say it's me?"
"Noo-un, we read the book of the Southern Island at night, that's how we know it matches, Nalaiya is right we need to tell, so we three can come together and show them the truth."
"We don't know, we can't talk, we are not allowed, especially you as a female, they will never listen to you." "But you say they, you are caring and sweet, it's what I love most about you."
"Nalaiya, we can't! Let us train first, we need training regardless in this nation, nation of harshness and ability, please, I'm saving you."
"But do you truly believe?" She asks, seriousness still showing on her face.
"I don't know..." Noo-un lets out, confused about this.
They stay silent for a few minutes, then Nalaiya starts saying, "we could be friends right? We should stay together since we know."
"Yeah, Noo-un, we are all fourteen year olds here."
"Sano, you are sixteen?"
"Right," he embarassing laughs, "sorry."
"You two seem nice, we will see each other around for sure."
"Of course." Noo-un says as he leaves while Nalaiya and Sano watch as he walks away.
