CHAPTER 5- A Young Ones Last Journey

2. In the center that Shima stays now, Takashi comes to visit her in her room, it's very small, but enough room for one like Shima, who only cares for what's best for people than herself. He knocks on her door and a nurse opens it allowing him to come in, he walks in and sees Shima reading a book while in bed. 

"What's that?" He asks, sitting beside her.

"Just a simple book, they have a copy on the book of the Southern Island here, everyone is talking about it." 

She looks at Takashi and says, "so...How is Tanado and Anorishi doing?" Takashi looks down, then looking into her eyes he says, "I killed them." 

Shima looks at Takashi in shock, then he starts saying, "I murdered them, for their wickedness, and now their bodies are burning in the house while their spirits are burning in hell below."

"Takashi? How could you murder someone?? You are in so much trouble, the house?? Where are we going to live?" 

"We...Shima, I honestly don't know, I just felt it, felt it to kill them, because they were going to kill me, and Tanado has poisoned you, that is why you are in a clinic right now." 

"Really? I mean...I knew something was up but...I didn't think they would straight up poision me?" 

"Yes, they are assassins, living and working for our evil Emperor, this is why our land is in bad shape, they have been murdering the good ones all along, even my parents." 

"Anorishi killed my mother, when I was at school, I came home and found her dead on the floor, I already lost my father to a horrid disease when I was four, this broke it for me, then I was forced to become her servant," she looks up at him, "I'm glad they are gone, but still...What are we going to do?" 

"I'll figure it out Shima," he smiles just enough for him to look as if he is happy about something, "I must be a warrior, I just have to wait for the time, to where it can be official." 

"And I'll wait with you...I always felt like you were..." She smiles at him, placing her hand on his.

Shima and Takashi have been living together for months now, in a small home outside the city with a man named Roshoto, the doctor with no children who took care of Shima in the clinic. 

One day, as Takashi was training outside, Roshoto came and watched him for a bit, then he says to Takashi, "you are getting better." 

"I already know I'm strong." 

"So do we, you will be safe here, don't worry." 

Looking up towards the bright sunny sky above as Takashi continues to train, Roshoto says to him, "you must have been training like this since you were very young."

"I have." Takashi says, while still training.

"It's coming together, it really is." He uncrosses his arms.

Takashi turns to Roshoto, thanking him, and for allowing him and Shima to live with him.

Then Shima comes out saying, "the food is ready." After listening to the conversation.

Now two years later while enjoying their new peaceful life together, in the morning, Roshoto gets ready to leave for work, where he practically works all day. He tells Shima to watch the house while he's gone, so she does, which she always has done. 

As they are eating, a knocking sound is suddenly heard at the door, it and keeps going. "Right when we are eating?" Shima questions, "here you stay here, I need to check and see, Roshoto never said anything about guests?" She says walking towards the door quietly. 

She looks out the peephole and immediately, hearing voices, rushes back in towards the dining area. She turns all the candles off and she and Takashi quickly hide themselves behind a closet. 

"What's going on?" Takashi says too himself. "Intruders..." Shima whispers. 

Then they start hearing footsteps outside of the room. 

"Look, they are workers for the Emperor, I can tell by their shoes, the way it sings." 

"What are they here for?"

Suddenly,

"Come out!!" One of the guards yell. 

"If you do not come out right now, you will face serious consequences! No matter what, we will find you!" 

"How many of them are there?" 

"Shh..." 

"The closet is starting to move, Shima." 

"What?" 

She turns and looks at it.

"Look for yourself, one of the legs is moving, this thing is broken." 

"Roshoto broke this last year, my adrenaline overtook me, this is a horrible hiding spot. They are still looking, they see the food on the table, they are not going to stop, they know we're here." 

"I want to fight them..." Takashi angrily lets out.

Shima pats him and says with a shaking voie, "you can't do that, they will know who you are, aah!" Shima yells quietly after, as she tries to grip the wardrobe falling. 

"Grab it Takashi!." 

"I can't, there is no grip?" 

The dresser hits the wall, and Takashi and Shima can hear the footsteps of the men running towards the room. Takashi and Shima crawl against the wall where the wardrobe is, and the men come in, armed with weapons, with guns aimed at their face. 

They take them to the foyer of the home, and begin interrogating Shima. 

She stands in the middle of the ten men, with her hands behind her head. 

"I've done nothing to Tanado and Anorishi, I was in the clinic from poison for months." Takashi is forced to watch as he is restrained by the men. He works his way to get them off of him, but they threaten him instead, saying, "If you try to get out one more time boy, we will kill Shima." 

"What!?" 

"You heard me," then the man walks back to Shima, "nice tattoos..." 

"They are family markings." 

"Whatever, so...What are you to them?" 

"I'm a maid, have been since I was fifteen, I lived..." 

The man cuts her off shouting, "did I ask where you lived!!!" The man yells in his loudest voice. 

"No, sir." 

He points the gun to her neck and says, "who is Anorishi to you?" 

"My aunt." 

"Hmhp, figures you were related, now what are you to Tanado?" 

"He's just Anorishi's husband to me." 

"And the boy...?"

"His name is Takashi-" 

"Did I ask for his name!!" 

"No." Tears start forming in Shima's eyes, as she eyes Takashi, but the man uses his sword to turn her head back towards him. "Again?" 

"He was their foster child, but now he is like my little brother, if he isn't already." 

"Now who is Roshoto to you..." 

"Our caretaker, he takes care of us." 

"For how long..." 

Shima puts her hands down, "two years, sir." 

"Well, tell him no more." 

The man stabs Shima in her chest, causing her to fall down, laying on the floor trying hard to catch her leaving breath as her blood starts spilling under her. 

Takashi stands there traumatized as he is forced to watch Shima die, Takashi finally breaks through the men and lays on Shima's body with her trying to talk to him, but, the stab wound eventually overtakes her since it was right near her heard, and she takes her final breath as she places her arm on Takashi. 

Tears flood Takashi's eyes as the men tell him to shut up, then Roshoto arrives and the men attack him, and the same man who killed Shima walks up to Roshoto and says, "Hello...Now on your knees!!!" 

Roshoto gets on his knees and puts his hands behind his head in a panic saying, "What is going on!? What did I do!?" 

"Got your foster daughter killed, and your foster son bound up." 

As they forcefully take Takashi away, the man aims the sword at Roshoto's face with the man saying, "you betrayed us!! Think you can run now doctor, like you are a real one, you were once us, and now you think you can run away and take care of dumb teens, I don't think so, not to the Emperor, stab him!!" 

"What?!" 

The men stab Roshoto mulitple times, until his lifeless body lays on the ground as well, while they take Takashi away. 

CHAPTER 6 - The Birth Of Twilight

2. Takashi wakes up in a closed room, shivering from its freezing air, he gets up and looks through a hole in the door and sees that he's in a prison cell like room. Takashi, in a angry manner, starts banging on the door, saying "let me out!" Takashi backs away from the door as a guard comes towards the door saying, "shut up!" 

Takashi still angry starts saying, "why am I in here!? What are you trying to do with me, huh?" 

"I don't have to tell you anything." The guards lets out this snarky remark.

"Why did you kill Shima and Roshoto!!" 

The guard starts laughing at him, until another guard comes over saying, "let him out, the Emperor wants to see him." 

The guards handcuff Takashi and walk him out in the yard, as they were underground, to the Emperor, where Takashi sees a pitiful looking creature, with the looks of a dragon, fire eyes, red skin, and a long tail with big wings, but pretty small. Takashi looks directly into its eyes while it stares into his. 

But he looks back up to where Takashi makes it up golden stairs to the Emperor, where the Emperor sits in his riches like Tanado did, with many people looking to him, as Takashi sits in front of the Emperor. 

The guard starts saying, "this is him, your Power, the one who murdered Tanado and Anorishi." 

The crowd gasp. 

"This young man, has had blood on his hands, the blood of my assassins." The Emperor stares directly at him, their gold eyes piercing each other.

The other guard starts saying, "and he was the one to demolish Hanako's body into the river, because his mother was in the casket." 

"What do you mean was?" 

"Shut your mouth, you will not speak!!" The guard puts his sword in his face saying, "I'm not afraid to cut you..." 

"Silence!" 

The Emperor walks towards him saying, "Takashi...How old are you?" 

"I'm fifteen." 

"Then that is your death age, because this sword you see, has cut off many heads, it is so sharp, that it cut one's teeth, because it all happened to evil ones like you, hahahaha." 

"They murdered my parents!" 

"I said silence!!!" 

The ruthless Emperor cuts Takashi's face with his sword leaving a long red scar on his face, on his left side. 

The crowd becomes scared, seeing Takashi look at the Emperor viciously, then his eyes become orange like fire, and he becomes strong enough to break his chains off, causing the Emperor for the first in a lifetime to be afraid because of his sudden appearance. 

The sluggish Emperor runs inside as only four guards follow him. While this, the rest of the guards continue to fight with Takashi, but Takashi kills them all with the Emperors sword, and as this happens, the dragon from before flies over and starts burning people with it's fire, and attacking people, giving Takashi the chance to run inside to the Emperor. 

Takashi makes it in the building only to kill more people, and finally in the throne room is the Emperor, he tries to protect himself and does, by the guards, but as they start fighting, Takashi kills them as well, leaving the Emperor to himself. 

Takashi smirks at the Emperor, as the Emperor shivers in fear with no body nor weapon to help him, but himself, the Emperor starts fighting him, but as they are close to the wall, the Dragon from outside burns down the wall, almost burning the lazy Emperor. 

The Emperor falls down on his throne chair, and the Dragon tries to burn the Emperor, but Takashi points to it to stop, as he pushes the Emperor down, the Emperor tries to say sorry for everything he has down, but Takashi yells, "silence!! Ones like you will never have mercy on their eyes, you don't even know is what that is do you? Emperor Falshi, it's time you join your most prized possessions, as the warrior I am, you are just practice..." 

The Emperor keeps saying sorry, but instead Takashi murders the Emperor, and leaves his body and the place saying to the Dragon, "burn the whole thing down, it's best we can do to his second home..." 

The Dragon burns the personal home of the Emperor down, as Takashi sits and watches while on the dragon, then they ride out to Takashi's favorite place, Mt. Fodi, the place he trained before. 

He washes in a river before he goes to the mountain, to wash the blood and dirt off of him. While on the mountain, Takashi sleeps next to the Dragon, and that morning he washes up again and sees a gold crystal by the way of the mountain, Takashi brushes his hair out of the way and picks it up, as he does the wind blows, blowing his hair everywhere, and the earth shakes, but it doesn't affect Takashi. 

Then he realizes, "I really am a warrior, aren't I..." As the sky suddenly changes to Twilight, "the warrior Twilight, that is..." 

The Dragon comes down and Takashi rides on him saying, "Take me to the Southern Island, where I belong." The Dragon does so and flies him to Southern Island.
