CHAPTER 3- Super Strength
1. Morlagon, now a ten year old child, has been reflecting on the words of his father for years, ever since he turned eight, his focus was to become a warrior.
...
"Morlagon!" Maldu shouts to him, "Yes." he turns around while training.
"I need to talk to you about something."
Morlagon sits next to her on the sandy beach while Maldu continues saying, "I started thinking about your father, and how he helped you start your training, I was just thinking on how everything will come out, like...How can or where should you start your training. I've been looking for the place for years, maybe it is you who will find it, so...what I'm saying is that I believe you are the one to find it, right?"
"I should be able to, don't worry mother." "Morlagon, there is something I also want to say, I think I should be married to your father, it will make us more connected."
"You can't, I believe that as you watch over us warriors once we finally become it, it'll be your job to be mother over us all, the marriage would be hard."
"You're right, it's just that you are his son, it is respectful that a woman should be married to her child's father, if she can't obey, then she can't live." Morlagon gets up and says to her, "I'm going to go find the training place."
Maldu nods at him, "Alright, but be careful."
"I will, mother."
As he walks off, Morlagon walks around through the trees and dirt to find this training place, and he does finally, under a bark of a small tree, revealing long stairs that lead up to a mountain. He looks back and walks up the mountain, well cleaned and fresh green, all perfectly matched with the beauty of the island.
He makes it up top and sees a pedestal in the middle, caged weapons, and bronze crystals. He looks keenly at them and says, "this is the place, this is where I will train, to be the warrior that I am." Morlagon keeps training and training, and finally showing Maldu the place he trains.
Maldu stands with her arms crossed and says to him, "show me what you've learned."
Morlagon uses the stick weapon that has silver pieces on it, he stands there with it with his eyes closed, then he thinks deeply into it and lets it out, swinging it for life, perfectly fighting against the air, and then he lets out his big slash, causing Maldu to step back abruptly, in shock.
"Mother!?"
"I'm fine, it's just that was a powerful swing."
"I've been training for two months now and I love every bit of it."
"You sure do, Morlagon."
Now at the age of eleven, still in his training and trying to find who he is now, he takes a walk on the sandy beach side of Southern Island again, thinking on all that he is doing at the moment.
Walking beside the waters with his head down in thought, he suddenly sees the sea moving and the ground shaking, vibrating, and feeling a sudden uneasiness in his body to go with it.
Morlagon looks up in the distance of the ocean, seeing that the sky is turning gray, and so as the now mist in the ocean. Morlagon backs away and tries to find Maldu, but near the pathways are misty clouds, causing Morlagon to not see anything, but he continues his way through the trees and finds out that he ended up at the beachside again.
"Impossible? How did I?"
He tries to find another way and ends up finding a way, but again, he ends up back at the beach.
Now as he is trying to find another way again, a sudden quake comes from the ground, shaking on and off, but Morlagon doesn't lose his way and finds his path, but again, at the beach it always leads to.
Now being mad about this and confused, he sees four giant ship shadows heading his way, trying to get to the island.
Suddenly it starts to rain, pouring on the ground, soaking Morlagon, but he doesn't lose his way.
"This place is for no one, but us warriors!" He yells taking out his sliver staff weapon.
The ships get closer and they look monstrous, blowing smoke, waves, and rain everywhere. But, he stands still, and watches them as they appear, and he doesn't even stop to think about it being people on board, because the evil was causing the mist, the darkness in the skies, and the feeling of uneasiness.
Morlagon walks towards the ships as they get closer and waits for the ships to try to make a move, as Morlagon was already a serious training fighter for an eleven year old, so his urge to fight did not stand down.
The ships get closer and closer, and then they stop in the ocean about twenty feet from him. Morlagon now even more mad starts saying with an angry tone of voice, "what's the matter, huh? Too late to turn back now!"
Out of anger, Morlagon slams his weapon on the ground, and then from this, the ships fly in the air and fall down in to tiny ship pieces to the point where the rain has stopped and it's raining ship pieces, as they were that small.
The ocean waters get pushed back so far revealing at least ten feet deep of the ocean.
Morlagon stands in the position he was when he consumed the ships by his weapon and strength. The ship pieces stop falling and the water becomes normal once Maldu shows up, and in a panic saying, "Morlagon! Honey, are you okay? What happened? You have your weapon out? What did you do?"
Morlagon doesn't answer her, so Maldu looks at him saying, "Morlagon..?" But then she sees her surroundings, saying to herself with wide eyes, "oh my Yah..."
"I destroyed those ships mother, I had the strength to shake the earth, this has something to do with my training!" He says with an excited tone of voice now, as if what he just did was nothing odd.
Maldu shakes her head and then turns to him and says, "your father was right, you're learning about yourself everyday, that's good, that is very good." She kneels down and kisses his head and says, "your father is a wise man, and it was gifted to him by our creator who made this universe, he helped spread this legend, and so did my grandmother Ahorah, your great grandmother. Don't be worried that it worked or scared about it, be happy that it is there and praise the Creator for it and continue to do it."
"Yes, that is what I'm doing, and I will continue to do so." He bows to her and she smiles at him.
...
Now at the age of now fourteen, Maldu and Morlagon get ready to leave the island, to visit their home once again.
Maldu has Morlagon sail the seas and sail the seas he did, like a true seaman, and then they made it to the their nation.
They arrived at the island like the first time, Maldu stands back and takes a deep breath saying, "I'm back."
"So am I, mother."
Maldu hugs Morlagon and they walk into the city where everyone greets them with exciting hello's, and constant praises and greetings, along with hugs with everyone saying, "The queen is back!!"
And In happiness, they gather around them and party all day long.
CHAPTER 4 - The Marriage
The second day of them being back home in their nation, the King has a big dinner for Maldu and Morlagon, the air around the table with one's in charge, Maldu sits to be seen, dressed with fine garments, wrapped with all jewels and a beautiful crown like a queen was put on her head, she smiles through it being back home with her family and royalty.
Morlagon tries to keep his attention on everyone and his surroundings, but he keeps looking out the window, as if seeing something.
"Is everything alright, Morlagon?" Maldu quietly whispers to him.
He nods yes, but then a few minutes later, he excuses himself from the table, then he walks upstairs and looks at the window, seeing and hearing the rumbling sound of horses and chariots coming their way, with so many men on their side. Morlagon runs downstairs saying, "we're under attack!"
Everyone stops what they're doing with the king saying, "guards, warn the people! Get the soldiers out now!!" Maldu rushes upstairs with Morlagon and goes into hiding, helping others as well.
The King rushes outside with all his men and creatures ready for a fight, and they wait for them to arrive.
The rumbling sound of their feet come closer and the sand of the desert terrain blow in the air, and then they draw their own weapons still waiting for them to arrive. Finally, they show up and in front of them are warriors from the Lesothian nation.
"Why? Why do you show up like this?" The King says. The one in front gets off his horse and says, "I am the heir to the Lesothians, I am their king, oddly I would think you would know?"
"Consequences happen, but here I am running my own nation and you come in like this? I wouldn't have known, Southern Island is still our main focus."
"We helped you! You guys made a promise with us and broke it!"
Everyone gasp, then Maldu and Morlagon walk up, with Maldu saying, "where is Marshogon?"
"Queen!" The Sovereign himself and everybody with him bow their heads in respect, then the sovereign says, "See, we respect this nation very much, why can't you do the same?"
"My apologies if ignorance has succumbed to me, but my land is very important, and with Maldu gone, I must run it myself." King Abdullah assures, although still confused on what's happening.
"That's foolish, you should know how to be king from the start, here in our nation, we prepare from children to become king, what has happened to you and your people?"
"Listen, everyone runs their lands differently, you can not tell me what to do!"
The Lesothian Sovereign starts laughing, then Maldu runs up to him and says, "you are foolish for judging other nations as if your own, you run off somewhere! And don't come back!"
Everyone gets quiet until The sovereign says, "you have no right to say that woman, you call yourself a queen, and you're wandering around on Southern Island!"
"Because that's my job! It's what I'm supposed to do! Unlike you who judges other people lives instead of your own, remember you must have a plank in your eye due to your actions, and don't woman me!"
The sovereign becomes angry, throwing a spear at Maldu that he has with him, causing everyone to fight against each other.
Morlagon runs inside to hide from the fighting once the sovereign says, "fire!!" Over his incompetent anger.
Maldu even fights herself as she is also a very strong and powerful being herself, it's just that she doesn't have to show it physically, but she eventually runs inside to get Morlagon.
Eventually as time pasted, the war suddenly ends interrupted once a man yells, "stop!!!" So loudly that everyone can hear him.
Once they stop, Marshogon walks up to everyone in anger over the fighting, Maldu and Morlagon run outside with Marshogon hugging them back.
"What is all this? Why are our lands fighting? This is not what I wanted to happen at all!" He yells at his people, "You guys are just mad that I'm not betrothed to Maldu, and see it as a promise broken."
"What?" Maldu questions.
"It is true, I confess, you cannot have a child with Marshogon without being his wife, that is a law in our nation, but you were gone, and your King made a promise that you would be married to Marshogon by the time you came back, and here you don't even know, which means he played me as if foolish, because you have lied, but now it is not him, it is law that you become his wife, unless you be put to death."
"Death??"
"You can't kill my mother over marriage," Morlagon stands before Maldu.
"My son, be calm, it is going to have to be made, you must be my wife with my child." Marshogon tries to come Morlagon down.
"Marshogon...I know it is to be made, but I'm different, I just watch over the warriors on the island, I can't have a marriage."
"Yes, you can, if you are not next to me physically, you always are mentally in my heart."
Marshogon kisses Maldu and hugs Morlagon saying, "my son is learning, he is strong, I can see it already."
"Marshogon..." Maldu gives off a loving smile.
Marshogon then kneels down on his knees and proposes to Maldu, saying, "please Maldu, marry me." Everyone gasps then Maldu says, "yes, I don't care, I know I'll always be there with you, I'll marry you."
Everyone claps with happiness as everything calms down, for Marshogon and Maldu.
