CHAPTER 1 - The Man of Southern Island
1. Living on the Southern Island for years, Maldu and Morlagon continue their life regularly, until seven year old Morlagon comes over to Maldu in the middle of the night and taps her on her shoulder saying, "mommy, mommy, I need to tell you something." Maldu wakes up and says with a sleepy voice, "what's the matter?"
Morlagon sits on the side of her wooden bed and begins to say, "who really is my father? I really want to know? Like, how did you get here and what happened, I want to learn, to learn more about the outside and the sea."
Maldu sits up and says, "why, why are you wondering?"
"Because, I had a dream just when I was sleeping, that I was talking to a man that I look like, he was dark skin, dark brown eyes, a scar on his cheek, and he was wearing some long white and red robe, and he was reading something. I look like that man in my dream, he must be my father, I know it, and I want to see him." "I'm teaching you, I'm protecting you, that is all that matters until our Creator tells us to leave."
"But..."
"Morlagon, just go back to sleep please, come on, I'll put you to sleep." Maldu puts Morlagon to bed and then she goes back to sleep herself.
Now in the morning, Maldu gets up and checks on Morlagon and sees that he is not there, she wanders around in a panic, trying to find him.
She runs to the shore and sees him standing in the deep sand, letting the the water brush against his feet. "Morlagon!"
"Mother, I just want to know, that is all I want." Seeing the saddened look in his eyes, Maldu stands back, sighing and then she says, "fine, if that is your wish, than let it be so, tomorrow, we will sail to my nation, but today, we are staying here in safety, where I know we'll be safe. I'll teach you the ways of the sea so that you can help keep sail."
Morlagon walks over to Maldu and says, "thank you, mommy."
Maldu smiles at him and then walks to the waters, praying and saying, "mother, father, and all my loved ones, I sit down on the drift of the sea and say, this powerful one, my son, is eager to see the world around him, but I can't seem to get this one thing out of my mind, is it really right for a woman to teach a man? no, it is not, but I just do what I can to protect him, plus he is a warrior, is he? And if he leaves, I wish it not harm my son, but I know, that there would be a problem, to the Creator of us all as always, by your will, it be done." Maldu gets up and leaves with Morlagon, with the both of them walking off from the beach.
CHAPTER 2- The Newly Tribe
1. The rest of the day Maldu teaches Morlagon on how to sail, and immediately he picks it up, sailing at least one mile in the sea, Maldu congratulates him and still she stays to sail.
The next morning, they gather their things and they leave the Southern Island, and of course in a day they finally make it there.
While at the dock, Maldu looks around at the sandy place, seeing the difference of when she was there last. Morlagon looks around at the place for its beauty to him, and sees that it is very different from the Southern Island.
Morlagon steps unto the orange sand and he wonders around in amazement. Maldu turns to him, walking around with him, and smiling herself as she recognizes this port.
Suddenly, the voice of an older man is heard, saying, "Maldu?" In a questioned voice.
Maldu looks around and sees an older man all covered up to where his nose and mouth are only shown, as he is wearing a a long robe to cover up from the desert wind. He walks over and says to her, "well if it isn't Maldu, and..." He looks over to Morlagon.
"Oh, this is my son, Morlagon, and you are..."
"I'm the king here, King Abdullah, I am your fathers brother, your uncle, do you not recognize me?"
"I've been gone for awhile now, I sadly do not recognize you."
"That's fine, the person to be most recognized, I know we never met, but I did get word they you will come back one day, I choose a good day to come out here."
"With no guards?" Maldu questions.
"They are right over with our camels." He points towards the other direction.
"I have another question?" Maldu says while they continue to walk, "why are you dressed so swainish? The king should be surrounded with greatness, people to get to your feet, your outfit should show the adornment of the people, excitement, where is all of that? My father's reign was wealthy, never were cheap clothes adored on him, such a fool that would make him, foolish, of a king. Show true authority to this land, our land...Not this cover some that a king puts on!"
King Abdullah starts laughing, not saying a word, still through his such covered outfit, who can see his smirking lips, as if what Maldu says is truly funny.
"King Abdullah, stop laughing?"
"The jealousy is real, Maldu, you wish you could be a seeking queen, I find that amusing, just like the reign of your father, your words do nothing to my choice, and after your father, I choose to make this a humble place once and for all."
"Why? For what, the nation is fine, and I'm still here, it is the Adenians that were making amends on us, why should you change it to such oddness?"
"For you." The young voice of Morlagon replies back.
They both turn to him, then Maldu says, "how would you know, my son, nothing in this land has any means on you at the moment."
"This very world has means for us, us warriors."
"How do you...?" Maldu turns around in silence and says, "I truly lost my humilty in this place." Maldu sighs, crossing her arms.
"Not for long, come now, follow me." King Abdullah replies.
...
They walk in the city and the place looks the same, but different at the same time, the air is more fresh, but the reek of sadness still has its place, then they walk to the palace where Maldu used to live, he holds her hand and he shouts loudly while being up on the stairs again, "Queen Maldu has arrived!!!"
Everybody stops what they're doing and look at the scene.
He turns to Maldu and says, "appoint to your job, our true queen, let them know what you are doing, and who you are to be, let them see the real you, and who you are with true authority."
Maldu hesitates to talk before her people, she gets wide eyed in fear as she watches everyone looking at her in a amazement, but she continues to be steadfast, taking a deep breath and then saying, "my people, I am here as the lands true queen, but...My job as the queen cannot be done due to my work on the Southern Island, or just Southern Island as it is now a home. As what we learned through the years I...Want us to be safe, for my people and all the inhabitants of the Earth, the creeping creatures and beasts, and all the animals and creatures we have, should be adored with longer life on Second Earth. But as I said, I'm here to explain my lack of authority here, I truly miss my people and..." She looks over to see a smiling Morlagon by her side, she smiles and proceeds to say, "I have a son, a wonderful handsome son named Morlagon, he is my only thing left to connect me back to my homeland. When he wanted to come here a few days ago, I knew it was right...For I love my people and all that we been through, it is a lot."
Maldu stops speaking, she then takes another deep breath, saying, "my family has been searching for so long, and along with my grandmother who knew about this island, and she gave it to the one I love, Marshogon, Morlagon's father, years later, to pass on who I am. Ahorah is the one that my father came from, but she gave him up, and she felt bad, but with her now gone too, I have to make it up to everyone who I am, and that I am the Guardian of the Warriors, the mother of the warriors, on that sacred island, I am to guard them and be a leader to them, and I am the lady, to watch them on the island. I've learned so much over the years, and...I'm going to prove my skills and make sure this world goes back to what it needs to. My son, he is the first warrior named Morlagon, I don't know what he is going to do exactly, but we know it'll save this world."
She keeps a smile on her face, "thank you for listening, my people."
Everyone claps including Abdullah and Morlagon, and Maldu for once in a lifetime keeps her big bright smile on her face, causing her to stand out with greatness, as she hasn't smiled like this since her family fell from her. She hugs Morlagon and King Abdullah and then he starts saying to her, "that was brilliant, see, what you said back there was for nothing now wasn't it."
"I apologize, King Abdullah." She bows to him.
"I accept, now come on, let's go inside."
...
The next day, Maldu wakes up to the sound of commotion outside, when she gets up and looks at the window and immediately realizes it's not, and that it is the greetings of the Lesothian nation, and hit of a festival, with everyone dancing and eating, and the creatures flying in the background. She gets dressed and washes up with the help of the maidens taking care of her.
When she walks out, she sees Morlagon sitting there in festival attire saying, "this is it, I finally get to meet my father!"
"Morlagon!" She shouts.
Everyone claps when they walk through the crowd and the exotic creatures around, and through the crowd she sees Marshogon. Her eyes light up at the sight of him, then she runs over to him and hugs him saying, "how I missed you, Marshogon."
"Maldu..." He says back sweetly.
Maldu turns around and sees that Morlagon is hiding in the crowd, she starts to say, "Marshogon, I have a big surprise for you, you have a son, his name is Morlagon."
Morlagon comes out and looks Marshogon in the face, his face brightens when he sees the man in his dream, his father. Marshogon hugs Morlagon tightly, and tears come from both of their eyes as Marshogon's dream of having a child with Maldu came true.
Maldu herself tears up and she joins the hug.
Then King Abdullah walks by with his guards and says, "come to the palace, where there is the greatest food to eat."
They follow the king to the palace and they sit down on a long fancy table covered in decorations and delicious food to eat. They sit down in the beautiful supper room and eat together with the Lesothian nation.
While Morlagon is eating, a sudden flash appears in front of him, causing him to jump up, everyone looks at him as he stands there saying, "I saw something! Something flashed in front of me!"
"What!?" The people question.
"What did you see!" Marshogon says.
"I don't really know, it was a man that looked like...me? But his hair was long and white, but he wasn't old, it was the only thing I saw, it was too fast, and it scared me."
"A man that looked like you?" The king says.
"Yes," Marshogon gets up and says, "Morlagon, follow me."
Marshogon and Morlagon walk together up a big gold staircase while everyone watches them leave, including Maldu who follows them to the stairs.
Now on the top floor which is the twelfth floor of the palace, leads them to a big beautiful balcony, with a pedestal in the middle of the balcony with gold lights hanging above it, and with the sunset makes the scenery even more beautiful than before.
Marshogon stands before the pedestal and says, "both our nations come together to fill this pedestal with the most important information we know, as you can see it's filled, but there is something missing, and that something is you."
"Me?" Morlagon questions greatly.
"Yes, you are a warrior that will physically destroy the evil that is lurking here, along with nine others, but what is missing is the second part, which is when is your time, according to the book, you will know by the times of the day, if you're sleeping at night, and you are suddenly woken up by a strong breeze, and you see a light leading you to this very pedestal, you will follow it and when you do...on this very pedestal will be a crystal, a beautiful healing crystal, I can't tell you the color, but whatever you do you shall touch it and put it around you, and when you do, the time of day will change to a random time, like if right now it was suddenly morning or midnight then that is your time."
"What is the time for?"
"It keeps you on track of when to attack the 100 year span demon, each of you guys will attack it at your times, then come together and defeat it once and for all." Morlagon stands there in shock then Maldu comes over to them saying, "I heard the whole thing, such a message to your son that is, you truly are his father."
She says then hugs the both of them and says, "I could never."
"Yes, you can, you are like me, treat me like your husband, which I wish I was, but we'd be so separated."
"Come with me."
"I can't, you are the guardian, not me."
After this, King Abdullah comes up clapping saying, "this is why our land is doing great, because of people like you, come down, we have a surprise."
"I must leave soon, after this talk, he must return to the island."
"Okay, tomorrow morning, you'll leave." Marshogon and Maldu go back down stairs with everyone, but before Morlagon leaves he stares at the beautiful sunset.
