Concerning the title. The phrase "your essence manifests itself in a pause" is posted on my wall at home. I read it every day cause it was directly in front of my desk. I think it's a powerful message. It helped me a lot.
Hope everyone is safe and okay! I'm having so much work and life going on, but still managed to make these pages look as I want them to look. Hope you enjoy the story and my journey in search of the right visual style.
Sasha is a kind young fellow from a family of farmers. He grew up on a farm, reads a lot, is fond of philosophy and can put in plain English ideas of Kant to you. He studies at a technical university and wants to become a mechanical engineer. But in his fifth year of study, he had heavy issues with anorexia \ eating disorders and had to take an academic leave.
Now, in order to return to study, he needs a psychologist’s opinion, and the doctor Sasha came across, well, is rather intriguing. Sasha does not really want to share the skeletons in his cupboard, as he's sure he's fine. His psychologist Dmitry has a different opinion and stubbornly seeks an approach to the street smart. They argue, wander around the city and talk on unrelated matters. And, as you know, such a violation of medical ethics can lead either to a great friendship or to a street row behind the garages.

In this comic there will be a lot of aesthetics of post-Soviet cities, references to books and films. There will be amateur arguments about philosophy and warm and comfortable conversations.
