The girl walked behind her parents as they walked toward the building. The people with cameras around constantly let their flashes blind her as others attempted to speak with her and her parents. Her parents gracefully spoke to the reporters while the girl kept walking ignoring their pestering rude behavior.
They walked into the building and were greeted by two other people. A chandelier hung above them, others were dressed just as nicely as they were as they mingled, talked amongst each other, and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. The people who walked up to them to greet them was a man and his wife. The man had a gray beard with some of his black hair still showing, a bright light blue suit, and a tie to match. His wife was matching with her dress coming down her shoulders and her shining silver heels twinkling every time she moved. She looked half his age and she was very attractive as her bright smile gave off a calming aura around her.
"Welcome to my party, Constantine, and same to your stunning wife of yours, Kendra," said the man as he shook Constantine's hand and then hugged Kendra.
Kendra shared the same gray eyes of her daughter but they looked more cold as she hugged the wife who seemed uneasy with her presence. Constantine then hugged the wife and happily gently moved his daughter up to them to greet them as well.
"Hello, Rilynn, looking just as stunning as your mother," said the man before he pulled her into a tight hug.
Rilynn disliked him touching her so she pulled away. Kendra didn't approve of her behavior by giving her a cold glare. Rilynn ignored her as the man chuckled as he was aware of invading Rilynn's personal space.
"I do apologize for making you feel suffocated by my embrace," said the man to Rilynn.
"Do not apologize, Presley. Our daughter is just being difficult as other teens are once in a while," said Constantine as he glanced at Rilynn who ignored him as she started to roam away.
"Well she does certainly remind me of you know who," Presley brought up as he went to a whisper.
"I am aware that he will be here tonight," claimed Constantine who seemed interested in seeing the man they were talking about.
"Yes. I saw to it that he would be here. He should be around here now if I am not mistaken and should be awaiting your proposal," said Presley.
"My husband did a fine job with convincing a man like Blight to come to a party, being that he is such a difficult man to meet with," commented Presley's wife.
Kendra smirked at her, "I assume you must have had a part in convincing Blight to attend as well Fiorella." She said with a cunning smile making Fiorella tense.
"Of course I did. I assist my husband with about everything he does with his work," agreed Fiorella.
"Yes, she is the most supportive and loving wife that anyone could ever have," added on by Presley before he kissed his wife on the cheek as Kendra looked at them with the same cunning smile.
"I wish that Florian was able to attend then Rilynn would have had some company," said Constantine as he grabbed a drink from a waiter.
"He is occupied with school work tonight regardless of it being a Friday night. He needs to obtain good grades if he wants to stay on that team so we make sure he keeps up at all times," said Presley sternly.
At another part of the party, Rilynn tried to steal a drink off of a tray from the waiter but failed horribly. She walked off defeated until she noticed a girl her age talking with a man. The girl was wearing long golden gown with a leg slit. She had her hair down straighten and long earrings in her ears. She made eye contact with Rilynn and soon she instantly stopped talking with the man and followed Rilynn to another part of the building.
They ended up outside on the balcony. Rilynn was kissing on the girl's neck and then she slowly started to caress her exposed leg from the slit in her dress as she moved her lips to hers. Rilynn then suddenly pulled away and wiped her mouth.
"You taste like cigarettes," said Rilynn as she spit the taste out her mouth.
"I don't smoke all the time. I stole one from my dad. It's not that bad," said the girl who felt disrespected by Rilynn's words.
"Whatever, I'm done. I hate the taste and smell of cigarettes," said Rilynn as she leaned on the side of the balcony.
The girl looked disappointed but she stayed with Rilynn as Rilynn looked through her phone, "You know your father is trying to get Blight to become his partner. My brother will never fall for that unless your father agrees to let your brother work alongside him instead." The girl said before she yawned.
"My brother is busy with other things, Coletta. He has no interest in working along side Blight and even if he did my father wouldn't allow it because my father will fear my brother will take over sooner than he wants him to," commented Rilynn as she scrolled through her social media.
"Maybe you should have kept that to yourself," claimed Coletta.
Rilynn smirked at her, "Maybe I told you because I could careless what happens if you told your brother," Rilynn remarked.
Rilynn went back to looking through her phone as Coletta got the urge to begin to kiss Rilynn on the arm. Rilynn allowed her to do as she pleased until she stopped at a photo on Vita's account. Rilynn paused and looked to see a familiar face. Rilynn then pushed Coletta away as she was leading up to Rilynn's face with her lips and walked off leaving an angry Coletta behind. When Rilynn was far enough away she called Vita.
"What you want?" asked Vita as she was doing homework in her room.
"Who was that girl in the photo?" questioned Rilynn.
"Oh that was our new friend, Asteria. She just moved to town. I was planning on having you meet her on Monday on her first day of school," replied Vita.
Rilynn didn't answer her as she began to remember a certain memory. She was younger walking in the halls of a old school and she saw a girl walking toward her. The girl stopped in front of her blocking her pathway and placed her finger on Rilynn's chest demanding for a rematch to basketball. Rilynn was just as amused as she was back then as she recollected that memory of Asteria.
"Hello... are you there Rilynn? Are you ignoring me?" said Vita as she tried to gain the attention of Rilynn.
"I'm still here,"
"Why are you curious of her? You like what you see," said Vita as she giggled.
"Let's just say Monday is going to be very interesting" said Rilynn before she hung up.
Rilynn walked out and placed her phone in the purse she was carrying. She then made her way back to the main room when she saw Blight himself. Blight was wearing a suit with a red shirt under. The shirt was opened revealing his chest and gold chain. He had several gold rings on his fingers, a watch, shiny fancy dress shoes with gold trimming, a scar was seen a little on his eye, and his black hair was slick back. He was speaking with Constantine and he looked very much indulged in whatever her father was talking to him about. Rilynn was making the turn around the corner to the main room but locked eyes with Blight as she did. His scar was shown fully to her as he grinned at her as her father shooed her away with his hand without Blight noticing. Rilynn looked at Blight with no care of what their conversation consisted of or about him as she made her way back to the main room.
