WARNING: SOME BAD WORDS MAY BE INCLUDED

"Damn it, damn it damn it!" Alex said to herself as she walked down the hall to get her friend some towels for their shower. She stopped for a second and held her blushing cheeks.

" Why did it have to be this way! They were supposed to find out a different way!" As she slammed the door closed she heard Grace turn on the water of the shower.  

Alex raged for a second full of hot fiery anger. She could feel her anger boiling inside her like a volcano.

A scream came from upstairs from the shower and all that was heard was 

" HOLY FUUUUUUUUUUU!" A thud came from up in the bathroom along with a cussing and fuming Grace, her cheeks glowing red with frustration and embarrassment. 

Alex came running up the stairs and rushed into the bathroom. Luckily the bathroom curtains were wrapped around her like a towel and Alex covered her eyes and handed Grace her towel and said asked her,

" What the heck just happened?"

"Well." Grace replied standing up " The water started boiling and I couldn't get it to stop and the handle wouldn't move and u screamed and then the water" Grace stopped and slowly turned around towards Alex.

"Alex" Grace said staring at her, " Do you remember that day with the box and everything happening that day how I grew thorns to protect you?"

" yeah why?" Alex asked staring back at her full of concern

" Have you ever thought that your power might be affected by your emotions and you control water?!?" Grace said while emphasizing her every word with her hands.  

" I uhhh" Alex swallowed a painful bit of fear down her throat. "Y-yeah that's is cool! Now I can protect you too!" Alex winked and her making Grace blush the color of the red towel she was borrowing. 

"awwwww" Was all that escaped Graces lips as she looked up at Alex with a look of pure adorableness and sweetness that apparently only Alex could see.

Alex glanced up at her for a brief moment, a small flicker of passion ran through her, she glanced down at Grace, she was doing something with her hands.

"Hey what are you doing?" she asked tilting her head to the side watching Grace do whatever she was doing.

" Oh this" Grace held up a headdress of beautiful flowers and placed it on Alex's head delicately not to ruin a single hard made flower.

Alex blushed so hard Grace thought she was gonna pass out. 

" I love you Alex" Grace said embracing her in a hug.

Hugging her back Alex replied, " I love you more."
