After all the competitors had finished it was announced that Yuri had gotten 1st place. We cheered and hugged each other. Chris and some of the other contestants invited us out for drinks which we happily accepted. My little… no big problem had gone down by now and I gave Yuri back his jacket before we left the building
I helped Yuri with his things and but them in our car. I opened the passenger door for Yuri then sat down in the driver’s seat. I started to drive to the nearest bar following other competitors. As soon as we get there and walk in it seems that some of them were already drunk. Yuri smiles and joins in at the party while I follow behind him. People welcome and congratulate us as we take a seat.
After a few drinks, I stop so I could drive us home, but Yuri kept drinking. I got memories from the last time he drank too much and tried to stop him. He was having a lot of fun, so I just sighed and let him with a small smile on my face. We chat and laugh with other competitors.
It had gotten late, and people started leaving so we decided to leave as well. I said goodbye and carried the drunk Yuri to the car. I laid him in the back seat before starting to drive home. Yuri wined a lot and rambled about random things. I mostly ignored it until he said, “Chris was looking for someone to take home tonight, hehe.” “Oh yeah? Did he find someone?” I wasn’t really that interested in what he was saying but just wanted to keep the conversation.
“Yeah, I said he should go with you… but he declined, saying he didn’t want to take my man.” I blush up a bit. I was super embarrassed, “Victor what did he mean by that?" he gave me a confused look. "I told him you’d be fine with it since you got a raging boner watching him skate,” he said in a very drunken voice. I blush hard, “you saw that…” I said mortified. “Yuri I wasn’t- that’s not what- I would never-“ I panicked to explain myself until I looked back and saw Yuri had passed out and was snoring loudly.
I sigh and hoped he wouldn’t remember when he woke up. I tried to focus on driving, but my mind was racing, and it was hard to pay attention.
