As soon as I saw that strange light fall over the city, I immediately felt that something else was about to happen and the only thought that crossed my mind was to go where Dan was. Without realizing it, my body began to walk towards that place, the room where he should be, but upon entering the building I noticed something very strange, there were no people in the corridors and they seemed to have changed their conformation. It was as if these were longer and darker. I kept running casually until I began to hear sobs coming from a door. I still couldn't see anything around, the place had plunged into deep darkness and something inside me told me not to keep moving forward. So I headed for the door that I could see but as soon as I opened it and I was able to enter all change.

On this side, the darkness that had been imminent before seemed to have completely disappeared, however, I observed that there was a person, from whom the sobs came. It noticed that he was pressing hard on his head as he seemed to mutter a few words along with the sobs he was emitting. I went over to see if I could help with something, but the moment I was about to approach this person who was sitting on the bed in the hospital room, this person collapsed. A short time later something strange began to happen, his body began to lose shape, his flesh and organs began to form a disgusting mass. What was in form a person was now only a mass without form, it seemed as if it had been melted by an intense heat source, despite what happened this thing kept moving until something began to form, a creature similar to a wolf, if I could compare it to anything

‘What the hell’ was the only thing I could think of after seeing that. The moment that creature stopped undergoing changes, it began to launch a roar that echoed throughout the room and then many other roars began to be heard around. This was happening to everyone in the hospital. I couldn't understand anything, I didn't even have time to reason what I was witnessing. I had to hurry up and find him, find Dan soon. The beast in the room that I had entered seemed still unaware of my presence, so I hurried back to the door I had entered through, but just as I opened it that thing started running against me, after that I quickly got out and closed the door immediately hearing only how that thing slammed into the door. When I left I realized that I was not in the same place as before, this corridor was not in darkness, but little by little more of these creatures began to be seen, it seemed that some were just forming while others were already fully formed. The noise I made when I left seemed to have caught the attention of several of them. I saw them starting to roar like a violent dog before attacking, until I saw how the first one lunged at me and I started to run towards those things that were just forming. What the hell could I do now? I ran and realized I was in one of the hallways near Dan's room. It is not that far I must reach him, I must save him. Yet these creatures didn't seem like they were going to leave me alone. I could see that they had very clumsy movements, they seemed not really used to that body, although they ran fiercely their movements were clumsy and even when it seemed that they were finally going to attack me with a small dodge I could make them crash against the wall however it seemed that more and more were after me. The noise of my footsteps only seemed to attract them or awake others, plus they seemed to be guided by the noise those other creatures made. I thought that until recently all those things were nothing more than a person like me. Although when I thought about that, an idea crossed my mind, why had I not been affected? However I couldn't focus so much on searching for the answer to that question if I did I would be grabbed.

I don't know when, but the creatures had stopped following me. I was so focused on escaping that I hadn't noticed. It seemed that something else had distracted them but in a moment of distraction I ran into a creature face to face, however it seemed not to see me and although I had let out a small cry when I saw it, it did not seem to react to the sound. I was so shocked by the event that I did not move, I could not process what was happening. I was having thousands of thoughts running through my mind when I heard a faint voice telling me "Don't stop." After Hearing it, I knew I should hurry to Dan. I situated myself quickly and knew that I was already near his room; I was meeting creatures on the way but like the previous one they did not seem to notice my existence. For a moment I thought that even if I reached the door of Dan's room maybe it would not lead me to Dan, maybe it would lead me to another room, to another place, but thinking about it was only making me feel much more anxiety, I would have to trust, trust that that door would lead me to Dan. Once I was in front of the door I was scared, but without thinking about it, I opened it and found myself in the place I wanted to get to.

Upon entering I could see that Dan was on the floor and in front of him was one of those things, it looked ready to attack so I threw a table that was right near the entrance and with that I was able to distract it. After that I quickly approached Dan. I was happy to see him so very happy, I wanted to hug him at that moment, I wish I could hug him, I wish I wasn't so afraid of doing it, I wish I could do so many things, but I can't, I have decided that I will just look at him from afar and do my best to see him happy, But in this moment.

"Are you okay, Dan?" I said as I helped him get up from the floor.

"Liz ..." he said with a trembling voice, "Yazír, Liz, is ... Liz, is that -." I already knew what he was referring to. It was not so difficult to understand what was happening and why I could see a tear-filled face on Dan at this moment, I couldn't bear it.

"That's right, it’s not Liz anymore," I said in such a cold way that even I was disgusted.

I don't understand what is happening. I did not understand anything and much less could understand what to do now with Dan in that state and with the thing that used to be Liz getting up, I could not understand what I would do. But of one thing I was sure and that is that if I had to give my life for him, I would do it without hesitation. I could see how the thing was getting closer to us and I could not find a solution to this. Oh man, how I would have liked to do so many things with Dan, talk to him more, become more intimate, be friends, go for a walk, hug him, yes, how I would have wanted to hug him even once. I could hear how that beast roared and then run against us as I quickly wrapped both arms around Dan's trembling body to do what I wanted to do. If I had to die protecting him, at least I wanted to hold him.

Hey! Sorry for not uploading a chapter last week, last weekend was my birthday haha, an also this week was full of parties. Well HBD to me! haha. So this chapter was something I really enjoyed writing, I really like yazír, a lot! His personality is gonna be a little like mine. But the character I really love the most is the one Is gonna be next week. He is my favorite one I really love him so much even though maybe you gonna get mad at him somewhere in the future haha, I wonder how many chapters gonna be.See you next week!
