If you wanted Romans honest opinion he blamed Patton for this stupid position he’s been forced to. Now maybe Roman should blame Deicet but Patton was the one who sided with him, he choose to agree with him. Deceit was just to, to, cunning! He was a sneaky, slimy, snake! Roman screamed into Virgil’s pillow. Roman didn’t want to give Thomas a random panic attack so he started to calm himself. Counting down from 10, gripping onto his arm tightly.
After calming himself he let himself drift of trying to just forget, even for a second. Everyone may think that he’s this cocky, overconfident, narcasisatic, person, but he felt insecure all the time. Some days he would just be holed up in his room trying to come up with the best ideas only to be shot down by the sides. For Remus and Deciet to mock him. It stressed him out.
He’s only trying to be as perfect as he can, that’s what everyone wants out of him. Confidence, energy he didn’t always have, hope, hope that he held for Thomas. The hope that one day Thomas would be on top of the world. That was stressful, it was overwhelming. He acted like he didn’t mind, but he did.
Roman POV
When I started to realize that suppressing everything wasn’t the smartest idea, I, started to take it out on others and myself. When I would go off into the imagination to fight the Dragon-Witch I would just, stand there at time. I’d let her attacks blow me. Just keep going and going. Those were the days where I didn’t want it to stop. The days where I felt like I was failing Thomas.

Roman sighed at his thoughts and shoved them away. He was still lying in Virgil’s bed with no plans on getting out. It had gotten hot at one point so now, there lied Roman with a tank top and shorts with zero plans for the day.
Virgil was still in awe of Romans nice room. He couldn’t believe how nice it. The white and red theme was sort of an eyesore but he could get over that. Virgil had been feeling like he was on some kind of high. He felt so light and good. There was still a voice in the back of his head nagging him about how wrong it felt. But it was barely enough to convince him it was. Especially with how nice it felt.
He was snapped out of his thoughts when his stomach growled at him. “Yeah, yeah.” He got up from the bed and headed into the kitchen.
Virgil’s Pov
I went into the cabinets and scoured them for anything good. When I finally decided Patton came in. “Virgil! Those are Romans. You know that.” He scolded me and I grumbled at him shoving them back in. “He hasn’t even eaten them yet.” I pouted as Logan came in behind Patton. “You can have some of my cereal Virgil” Logan said and I scrunched up may face. “You only eat bland crap Logan.” He shrugged and sat at the table. “Whose boxes are these then?” I groaned. “Romans. Why?” I shook my head and he just shrugged. Going to sit with Logan at the table. There wasn’t a single box that was Roman’s open. I shook my head and decided to ignore it. I wanted to go in and ask him why, if he was ok. But knowing Princey he probably has snacks in his room. I found some other cereal to eat and went straight back into the room.

Even though there was that nagging voice in the back of his head he decided to ignore it. Virgil flopped onto the fluffy bed and made the decision to ask Roman about his eating habits later. Maybe when the other was more settled in.
