Cobalt rays of night unfold,

Unfurl towards the land.

As shining tears of twilight fall,

From stars,

to sky,

to sea.

To drift beneath the roiling waves,

And light the oceans peaks.

Tendrils creep upon the Earth,

Shadows sink beneath the green.

To lie in wait for Dawn to pass,

The sun to sink beyond the clouds.

As night again shall come,

To lift them to their shadowed perch.

Amongst the darkened clouds.
