Zora swung his tail lazily at the incoming arrow, growling he slithered higher into his big oak tree. Zora knew he was going to have to go and defend himself. His pink fork tongue flicked out and tasted the air. There was about five humans. What is it about humans. They just wouldn't leave him alone. Before Zora slip out of his tree a flaming arrow lodged itself at the base of the Oak tree rapidly lighting it on fire. The lamia had no choice but to fling himself from the top of the tree hissing with rage. His home, his life he had work so hard to build has was being destroyed.
"You fools!" Zora hissed his black and yellow scales glittering in the flames. He surged forward at the archer who had destroyed his home and lunged his fangs showing and curled around him squeezing tightly until the archer stop breathing. Until the he's ribs cracked.
Zora dropped the archer and looked at the rest of the hunter his tongue flicking out.
"One me!" The middled one shouted which Zora thought to be the leader. The leader raised his hand and all the weapon were drawn.
"Now!"
Zora's eyes glowed yellow as magic filled the air protecting him from the swords and weapons against him. He chanted and spell he sent the men flying to the deaths.
Just as quickly the chaos started it ended. They were all dead. Zora slithered over the dead bodies running a hand through his dark hair. Now he hand to find a new home away from humans. Though Zora resented humans he knew there hate for him wasn't for nothing. Lamia's like him feed on their children and sometimes even adults. But what could he do. He was not evil just hungry. Cursed by the gods to eat children.
Just then Zora was struck by a blinding pain. He could see who had suddenly stabbed him as he fell face forward into the dirt. The last thing he heard was a male voice pleading him to wake.
