Within an hour I managed to scrounge up one of Ella's brothers, I almost had asked her father to come with me, but I was pretty sure the man would kill the idiot who had denied his mate. My parents had called hers and explained what had happened last night. When I showed up at their house Susan hugged me tightly crying for her daughter.
I reassured the Submissive Wolf that we had managed to get her to drink a little bit of water this afternoon. She begged me to try and get her to eat something. I had told her I couldn't promise that I could get her to eat but I would make sure she drank more water today. I explained that I planned on going to her mate's house and get her something with his scent to soothe her wolf, Greta. I asked one of her brothers to come with me to his house just in case the wolf tried to attack me. Her brother Elias was quick to jump at the opportunity. He was 16, just a year under Ella, and he was going to be one scary fucker when he got older. He was in the training class with the Alpha to become a warrior.
I honestly felt just a teeny tiny bit of sorrow for the poor wolf that dared to fuck with Ella. Because his ass was ninety-nine percent about to get handed to him.
We made it back to Onyx's house. She was sitting on the porch step with Alexandre when we had arrived. "You made it back." She stood up.
"I brought back up too." I gave her a small smile. "Did you find out where he's located?"
"He's living in the packhouse," Alexandre spoke up, still sitting on the steps. His face was bruised on his right cheekbone.
"Where at in the packhouse?" Elias growls under his breath.
"I'll take you two to him, just promise me you're not going to do something stupid before we go. I know what he did is unforgivable but let me talk to the man. Can we just be civil wolves, and not let our instincts take over?" I looked over at Elias who was clenching his fists at Alexandre's words.
"Just let me throw a few punches?" Elias barks out.
"No, we're going to be civil Young Warrior." Alexandre pushes his black hair out of his face. "I know how you feel if someone did the same to my little sister I would be hell-bent on punishing the wolf that hurt her. We're just going to show him we're civilized people." He looked Elias in the eye.
"Fine." He crossed his arms over his chest, a scowl now resting on his face. "If my sister dies from this, I will not hesitate to kill him." He growled.
"If she dies I will unleash your family on him, but as of right now there's always a chance that they can rekindle their bond. We can't just go in there baring our teeth, and expect for him to feel welcomed." Alexander stands up to his feet, grimacing as he did so.
"Whatever you say Alpha." Elias snarls, baring his elongated teeth to the Alpha. I put my hand on one of Elias's arms, noticing that his talons had pierced his skin, blood dripped down his palms and onto the concrete below.
"Elias, do you think it would be better if Alexandre and I go by ourselves so that way you don't do anything?" I ask the younger wolf.
"No, I want him to look me in the eye and tell me why he denied my sister." His jaw ticks in frustration.
"Fair enough, but if you act out of order I will take you out myself," Alexandre says a grim look settles on the Alpha's face.
"Understood." Elias nodded in response.

Alexandre had driven us to the packhouse in his SUV, both Elias and I were sitting in the back seats. Onyx had tagged along and she sat in the front passenger side, holding Alexandre's hand as we made our way to the complex.
Alexandre leads the way for us, we had to stop a few times on our way to the elevator because of people wanting to speak with the Luna and Alpha. Some of the kids that were playing in the daycare room had stuck their faces against the window, motioning the future Luna into the room. She looked at Alexandre for approval to go into the room, he gave her a small nod. She kissed him on the lips making him smile. She giddily ran into the room and started playing with the younger kids.
Alexandre continued leading us through the first floor of the complex, only getting stopped one more time before we had approached. The elevator took us to the third floor, and we followed Alexandre through the hall. He stopped in front of a lone door, he knocked on the door firmly. We stood there for a few moments before the door opened.
There stood the man I had witnessed running away from my best friend last night. I clench my teeth, wanting to snarl at the dominant wolf. "Can I help you Alpha?" His voice came out scratchy. I then noticed his unkempt hair, the bags under his eyes, and his posture was slumped as if he had been defeated.
"Why the fuck!-" Elias begins, but he was quickly cut off by our Alpha holding his hand up to the younger wolf... Alexandre catches my eyes, then moves his eyes to the wolf in front of us.
"I'm here to talk to you about my friend." I blinked, mustering up the words to say to him. "I was wanting to know why you denied her and her wolf."
"If that's all you came here for I'm not going to help you with that." He mumbles under his breath. He began to shut the door, I quickly jammed my foot in the way, blocking him from doing so. "What's done is done." I wasn't satisfied with the answer and my foot firmly kept its place.
"You son of a,-" Alexandre once again cuts Elias off, grabbing his arm that had been tensed up, ready to deck the idiot wolf in the face.
"Look we're just wanting answers, my friend is at my house and she's beyond heartbroken. She probably knew you all of what? 20 minutes, but this is the most I've ever seen my friend hurt. Nothing beats the pain she is in. I just want to know why?" I stared the wolf down. Although the man had inches on me he sank under my gaze.
"I can't bring an Omega home..." He lets out a shaky breath. "My pack will disown me, I'll become a rogue, and she will too, I can't do that." His tear-filled eyes meet mine. "I'd rather live knowing that she is somewhere where she belongs and not in a pack where they lock them up when they're in heat and during the full moon. I can't..." He paused, a lone tear falls down his cheek. "I can't let her go through that."
"You're fucking stupid." Alexandre lets Elias finally talk. "This pack would have welcomed you with open arms. Who gives a fuck about your pack, any pack that does that to Omega's is fucked in the head anyways. I would rather die than let my sister go to a pack like that." He snarled at the older wolf. "Your mate is where your home is, no matter the race, the gender, or the caste. You're fucked in the head."
"You don't understand, I'm the Beta for my pack, I've been traveling for months to find my mate." He states. "My pack is awaiting my arrival soon."
"So you're the Beta of your shitty fucking pack, that's even more bullshit. If a pack treats their Omega's like that they're scum. You're scum. The fuck is wrong with you?! That's my sister you denied, just because of your shitty pack." I could feel the body heat rolling off of Elias, he needed to calm down before his wolf took over. Alexandre noticed this and grabbed the younger wolf's arm and walked away with him despite his protests.
"Honestly if you want my opinion..." I said grabbing his attention from the ruckus Elias was causing yelling at Alexandre as if that were going to let him go. "I would drop the rank in your pack, join ours, and if by some miracle try to earn your mates trust to love you."
"I can't just drop the rank, I've worked my whole life to be a Beta." He furrowed his eyebrows.
"Then spend the rest of your life in misery, if my friend dies from a broken heart, trust me, you think her brother seemed scary, just wait until you meet her father. Ella is the light of their family, if you burn that light out, all hell will break loose. Now enough of that..." I sighed. "I need you to give me a few items with your scent on it. I think it'll help her out in the long run. I think I can put them in a tub to contain the smell for a while so the scent doesn't wear down. You won't see me again after today unless you try to win my friend back and drop the rank in your own pack that is." I got to the point quickly, not wanting to be here any longer.
He sighed and opened the door for me to come in. I follow the older wolf into the small apartment leaving the door open. He grabbed a duffel bag from the coat closet and sat it on one of his bar stools and exited the room. I leaned up against the wall, waiting for the Beta wolf to come back. After about 10 minutes of waiting, Joseph walks back into the living room holding a pile of shirts and a blanket. He stuffs them in the bag and hands it to me.
"Thank you, consider what I said, I'm sure if you ask Alpha Kent he can make arrangements for you." He nods his head in response.
"I have to have time to think about it. I think I'm going to go back home for a little bit." He explained. "It'll be a lot to process, again I've worked my entire life to be Beta of my pack."
"If you plan on getting back with her, don't keep her waiting too long. If I know anything about my friend, she has little patience and she's feisty." I give him a half-smile, leaving the apartment shutting the door behind me. Alexandre and Elias were standing next to the elevator waiting on me to come to them.
"I think he'll come around after some time to himself." Both of the wolves look at me in wonder. I pull the bag up letting it sway, as I smile in triumph. "No way in hell he would have given me a bag full of stuff with his scent if he didn't care."
"I still want to knock all of his teeth out," Elias growled. We made our way back downstairs to the lobby of the packhouse. We ended up trying to physically pull Onyx out of the children's daycare room. They were holding on for dear life, as we were pulling the kids off of her more would just come and attach themselves to the young luna. We were failing far and fast with these rambunctious children.
A small Omega girl who was holding onto her blanket tugged onto my pant leg. "Mister Omega," her sweet voice said, making my heart melt.
I crouched to her level. "Yes, little one?" I smile at her brushing her hair out of her face.
"Do you have any stuffed animals?" She asked, her big doe eyes made me fall in love with her.
"Why do you ask little one?" I curiously ask her.
"Janelle and Kelly keep making fun of me because I love my stuffed unicorn. I told them that big kids have stuffed animals too." She pouted hugging her blanket tighter to her tiny chest.
"Even the big scary dominant wolves have stuffed animals, don't let them tell you not to love something you love." I pinched one of her cheeks, making her smile. She then takes off in the direction of whom I assumed to be the girls she was talking about. I stood up straight and noticed that they finally freed Onyx from the children's clutches.
Once we stepped outside of the packhouse. I noticed that Warriors were swarming inward toward the packhouse. That’s when I noticed the bloodied Omega in one of their arms.
