"My god, Megs. What did you get on this?"
I looked up from my phone to Ms. Erestie. She held my Thrasher hoodie in her perfectly manicured hands. I remembered then; the chili dog. I smile and laugh a bit. "It's chili, Ms. Erestie."
She looked at me and propped her hand on her hip. "You better be glad that you're cute, or I would make you lick it off." She came over and placed a gentle kiss on my cheek. "And I told you to call me Lindi."
I smirked. "Okay, Lindi." She nodded and proceeded to stuff my hoodie into the washer and start it. Then, she sat on the table in front of me and ran a gentle finger down my jaw line.
"You are quite precious," she said as she put her finger under my chin and brought my face up to look at her. "And I did your laundry, so now, you owe me."
I groaned and looked back to my phone. Lindi was a force to be reckoned with, and I seemed like the only one with the audacity to ignore her. She never liked it.
"Cmon, babe. What's next on your list?"
I open up my notes tab and scroll to the next one not checked off.
'Clean Lindi's clothes'.
"Well, would you look at that," Lindi smiled. "What a coincidence."
She unzipped her GAP jacket, and set it on the table. "Get to work, bunny."
