The Mad Hatter and the March Hare were having a great time, sitting on the pink four legged table and having fun with tea as they heard a knock on their front door. Night had fallen and the atmosphere was spot on.
"NO ROOM! NO ROOM!" The Mad Hatter and March Hare shouted just as Alicia and The White Rabbit were about to head into the annual tea party.
"But, but we thought there was plenty of room!" Alicia cried out, hurt by these words. Her head hung low as she slowly walked out of the front door, disappointed. Sadly, The White Rabbit too followed her.
"Wait! Wait! We were only joking! It's opposite day, silly billies!" The March Hare replied back in a rather funny tone that they had told whenever they joined a mad tea party. What a funny story indeed!
Alicia was deeply frustrated as she smacked her head three times on the table. Slump! Slump! Slump! The table nearly crashed into pieces, thanks to her! The White Rabbit then thanked Alicia, The March Hare and The Mad Hatter with a piece gathering.
"As an important rabbit in this Wonderland, I hereby say to thee; thank you to Alicia, the brave girl who has outsmarted my terrible Queen of Hearts. You have saved me from being beheaded to death and I do think that you are the bravest person out of all Wonderland Hollow creatures. And as to The Mad Hatter and The March Hare, thank you for inviting me to this year's annual tea party in Wonderland Hollow. You both have very funny jokes to tell whenever the chance and even read me stories that made me explode with laughter. Thank you all for everything and for saving me. You all truly are the best-est of friends anyone could ever have. And now, let's all eat this delicious meal that we've been anticipating for months and months. With all my might, I pray. Amen."
When the rabbit had finished his last sentence of his speech, everyone started to feast all the goodies and yummiest on the table. The food was quite delicious as usual and everyone was very happy, spending time together telling funny stories, playing card games and even telling hilarious jokes that indeed made them explode with laughter!
Soon, it was around 9:00pm in Wonderland and Alicia soon realised that she had to leave. Her parents would be very worried about her. But before she left, The White Rabbit had warned her about one last thing.
"Alicia, before you go, I want to ask you something. Will you promise to keep this adventure all a secret for me?"
Alicia looked at The White Rabbit and nodded with tears sparkling in her eyes, looking like precious gemstones.
"Yes. Yes I will, Mr White Rabbit."
"Good. Now, drink this potion and you will be home in no time at all."
Alicia followed The White Rabbit's instructions as she immediately took a sip, waved a tearful goodbye to her Wonderland friends and before she knew it, Alicia was sitting back on the base of the tree, the leaves falling slowly onto her lap all the way to the grassy ground below.
The place where all her adventures began was right here. There was no rabbit hole anymore. No white rabbit. No wacky mad hatter. Not even one single grinning cheshire cat. Alicia yawned with a tired but cheeky look on her face. She loved the sun's rays that felt so soothing. Wonderland Hollow was a place she'd want to visit forever, now that The Queen of Hearts was dead.
All her adventures had come to an abrupt end but she knew that someday, she would visit this childhood place again in her wildest dreams.
