Henry reaches for his back and pulls out two boomerangs, one bladed, the other solid wood.
He hurls the wooden boomerang in my direction, I thought he was smarter than this.
This will be a easy fight.
I duck below the boomerang, and spring back onto my running legs.
I need to watch out for the boomerang behind me, if I’m not on guard, it could take me out.
I’ll deliver an uppercut to his jaw, that should end this quickly.
Henry slings his bladed boomerang at me, this is almost too easy Henry.
I slide directly under the boomerang and I use both of my feet to kick him in the jaw.
My feet go right through him.
What the hell?
He isn’t real!?
No, earlier I landed a punch, he has to be here.
So what is this then? An illusion?
I hear the slight chime of the wind behind me.
I immediately get back on my feet and ready myself to avoid the attack.
I feel a sudden sharp pain jolt itself throughout my entire body.
“Agh!”
I search for the cause of the agony.
Its Henry’s bladed boomerang, but how?
I should have seen it coming, was Henry able to use magic to trick me in some way?
I bring my attention back to what is in front of me.
I spot the wooden boomerang making its way over to me, assuming its real, I can catch it and Henry will not have anything to fight with.
I try to catch the boomerang but it goes right through my hand, and then I feel something hard and blunt hit me straight in the gut.
This along with the stab wound, this is probably worst pain I’ve ever felt so far in my adventuring career.
But I think I figured out his magic type.
Henry’s magic type is illusion magic, I know how to locate him too.
I spit out some of my blood on my sword and swing it.
I see the blood land on someone camouflaged.
“Found you!” I proclaim as I kick the camouflaged Henry in the face.
I can finally see his ugly green jacket.
“What happened to the orange jacket you had Henry?” I smugly question Henry.
There is no response from this egotistical half-elf.
“Shit did I kill him?” I ask myself outloud.
I walk over to his unconscious body and check his pulse.
Alright, he’s still alive.
