Back at the hospital, Alice is given the all-clear by the doctors and is discharged. Tom & Alice then drive back to the flat. When they get there, they wait outside for Eileen & Mike. When they arrive, they get out of the car and unload some marked boxes, carrying crucifixes and holy water.

Tom asks Eileen, "Is that going to be necessary?"

To which she replies grimly "It might be."

They then carry some boxes into the flat. Eileen & Mike go upstairs with Alice assisting them. With Tom going outside to pick up the rest. Walking towards Tom's bedroom door, Eileen & Mike look at each other warily, as they observe the door slightly ajar. Apprehensively, they make their way inside with Alice.

As Tom brings in the remaining boxes, he hears frantic shouts coming from his bedroom. Tom quickly races upstairs and repeatedly tries to open his bedroom door. That appeared to be blocked by something. As the shouts and commotion from his bedroom continue. Tom forces his way inside and sees chaos everywhere. As his furniture and other possessions fly around the room, hitting Eileen, Mike, and Alice as they struggle to take cover.

Mike rushes to one of the boxes to take out a crucifix and some holy water. As he resolutely turns to face the bed, its writhing tentacles then emerge, wrapping themselves around his head, Mike shouts as his head is slowly squeezed. As he struggles hopelessly to break free, Mike is dragged towards the bed, with Eileen, Alice and Tom desperately trying to help him. The tentacles then slowly twist Mike's bleeding head off.

The bed next turns its attention to Eileen, as it lifts itself off the floor with its tentacles. The bed grabs Eileen by the legs, trying to drag her underneath it. Tom quickly grasps her wounded hand and desperately tries to pull her away.

Eileen screams in terror as Tom gradually loses her grip. As the bed drags her underneath it. Eileen continues struggling, as the bed repeatedly crashes down on top of her until she's dead, and her lifeless body starts dissolving.

Tom & Alice try opening the window as the bed drags Mike's remains underneath it. Tom grabs Alice by the hand as they run towards the door, but 'Lucy' impedes them by setting fire to the floor and walls.

Tom shouts at 'Lucy' demanding to know, "What do you want?"

And on the cracked wall, the rambling letters I W A N T U appear in dying flames.

They desperately run back towards the window, as the bed intentionally targets Alice. But Tom throws himself in front of her, as he doggedly fights off the writhing tentacles with a battered chair. While struggling frantically to find a way out of the room with Alice.
