The next day Tom heads back to the junk shop. As he walks inside the store, he sees the old man sitting contentedly at the counter. He looked surprised to see Tom again.
The old man warmly smiles as he inquires, "Is everything alright?"
Tom politely replies. "I'm fine."
And asks the old man about the bed he bought recently and where he got it from.
The old man, after a few moments replies, "I got it six months ago, from a man looking to off-load some furniture, as he was moving out of town."
Tom asks. "Did the man leave any contact details?"
The old man replies "He didn't, which wasn't unusual because that was typically the case with most of the people I deal with."
He then asks the old man, "Has anything abnormal happened in the shop, like paranormal activity with the bed?"
Bemused the old man said, "I don't believe in absurd things like that."
Tom couldn't think of anything else to ask the old man. So, he thanks him and leaves the shop. As Tom walks toward his van, he calls Eileen and lets her know what the old man had just told him.
Eileen informs Tom "We'll be arriving at the flat in the late afternoon to pick up the bed." And she gently reminded Tom "Stay out of your bedroom until then!" As Tom returns to the hospital.
Meanwhile, James arrives back at the flat to see if the letter he was expecting, had arrived. His lovely girlfriend Hannah was waiting outside on the porch, after parking her car in the adjacent road because there was nowhere else to park.
James unlocks the front door and picks up a pile of letters from the floor. As he walks into the kitchen, he thoughtfully places the ones addressed to Tom at the breakfast bar. While eagerly opening his own, James suddenly hears some footsteps on the staircase.
He walks over to them and hears the footsteps again, this time coming from upstairs. He calls out for Tom or Alice to see if they were home. James hears Tom's gentle voice, as he walks upstairs. James knocks on Tom's door.
And 'Tom' replies "It's locked" as he tries opening it.
He picks up the door key from the table in the hall and unlocks the door before going inside. He looks around for Tom, but there's no one about, he then checks the bathroom. Hearing the bedroom door slam shut by itself. He walks back into the bedroom calling for Tom. Instead, he's overcome by the hideous sight of a mutilated adolescent woman. With glaring red eyes standing stark naked on top of the bed.
She runs towards him and grabs James, ripping his clothes off. As James struggles desperately to fight her off, the hideous woman overpowers him. Flinging him onto the bed, she instantly jumps on top of him and plunges her blistered fingers into his toned chest. She repeatedly gnaws him, tearing asunder his exposed flesh before devouring it as James screams in agony.
As James struggles, the gruesome woman violates him, as she drags him under the bed. Hannah hears the commotion from outside, and walks into the flat, closing the front door behind her. She next hears James shouting hoarsely and runs upstairs as his shouts begin to fade.
Hannah hastily opens the bedroom door and rushes inside. She then unleashes a series of gut-churning screams, at the sight that confronts her. As the bedroom door slams shut by itself, Hannah's screams end abruptly.
