I’m awake, and all my wounds are healed.
This is the same room I slept in last night.
I get off the bed I was out cold on, and put some clothes on.
Sweet lord, I need a drink.
How long was I asleep?
I exit the room and walk down the creaky steps.
I see the bartender and Slade.
The bar maid is missing, she’s usually here at all hours.
Who is this girl to the owner?
I look over to the bartender and ask, “Where is the bar maid and what is she to you?”
He gives me my answer, “She’s my daughter, I wanted her to take over the family business when I kick the bucket, but now she is joining the mob.”
I’m gonna save her, I must save her!
Wait, I don’t even know the bar maid’s name.
Turning around I ask the bartender, “What is your daughter’s name?”
“Her name is Medi Cide, and the mob wanted her because her magic type is pure healing.” The bartender says with a depressing tone.
I walk back up the noisy stairs, and I grab my sword.
“Come with me Slade, we got a job to do.”
Slade asks, “Don’t you need new armor!?”
He shouldn’t ask stupid questions like that.
I feel Slade’s hand on my shoulder.
I look at him, and he says, “Think about this for a second, you don’t have any armor, and you are about to fight the entire mob of Reby!”
He brings up a good point actually.
Money is not exactly something I got currently though.
I let out a sigh, “You’re right, but I don’t have the money to get armor.” I tell Slade.
“I have a leather chest piece you can use.” The barkeep comments.
“I’ll take that then.” I say back to him.
Alright, we are now somewhat prepared with four restore potions, and ten throwing knives.
I think we’re ready to take on the mafia of Reby.
