Baise had a goal of taking a photo of his girlfriend in a different location every day for a year. However, that goal ended two weeks ago when she dumped him. So instead he changed his goal to take a picture of a different person in a different location each day for a year.

With it beginning cherry blossom season, he was originally supposed to take photos of her but since that couldn’t happen Baise didn’t want to let the opportunity to view such beautiful flowers go to waste.

He was walking around trying to find a subject but everyone was like him, taking photos instead of admiring the view. Then he saw her, doing exactly what he wanted to see, she was simply observing taking in the moment.

She was admiring the beautiful cherry blossoms when she heard a camera click. She turned around to see a guy with a polaroid walk towards her.

“The film will develop in a while. Would you like to view the cherry blossoms while we wait? I’m Baise.” He stuck his hand out to hand her the polaroid.

“Tori and I would love too.” She said with a smirk and took the film.

The two got chatting and continued to even after the photo was developed. She told him she was there for an art project and he told her about his project.

“Well it sucks that you couldn’t finish your original goal of taking photos of your girlfriend. But you know,” she said, playing with the rim of her glass, “I need to find different places to draw to build up my portfolio.”

“Are you offering?”

“You help me and I help you. Do we have a deal?” She winked and stuck her hand out for a handshake.

“Deal.”
