I hear the horn as everyone looks up at the ceiling, “It’s over?” I hear someone ask.
“But they just started!” Lana huffs. I look at the monitors as people slowly come out of the trees and shadows. Some of them have blood splattered on their clothes and hands, some having drops on their faces.
It was a bloodbath this year. I think as I tilt my head, everyone starting to begrudgingly pack their tablets and gear.
I wonder if this is because of that masked person. I think and power off the tablet, latching my satchel before I see Lo jog over to me; smelling the stench of blood as I cringe.
“I know, I know, but who the hell was that?” He asks, making me shrug, “I dunno,” I say as I see everyone come into the room, rushing over to their Captians. I see Louise and Sabrina come over, not seeing Sebastian.
“He didn’t make it, I take it,” I say as Louise frowns, Lo sighing, “Where is Lupus?” he asks, looking around.
I tilt my head and look around as well, “I dunno,” I say as I walk past them, “Come on, let’s get you guys cleaned up,” I say, feeling their gazes. I turn and hold the strap of my satchel, “Well?” I say as they look at me before following behind me.
I sigh and rub my forehead, seeing Jean talking to his soldiers before glancing at me. I look at him before nodding, heading out of the hall and to the shower rooms.
“Do you know who that was Kyma?” I hear Sabrina ask, hearing the soft click of her combat boots hit the ground.
“The masked person? No, but I’m sure the event was stopped because of this mystery person,” I say as I hear Louise grunt, “I don’t think he was human,” he states, hearing Lo snort, “Are any of us human?” he asks. I keep walking as I grip the strap tighter, that’s a good question.
