After every interview, we will post information about a charity chosen by the interviewee to raise awareness for that cause.
Allyn chose Stonewall UK.
Stonewall UK is there to let all lesbian, gay, bi and trans people, in the UK and abroad, know they're not alone.
They believe we're stronger united, so they partner with organisations that help us all create real change for the better. They have laid deep foundations across Britain - in some of the UK's greatest institutions - so British communities can continue to find ways to flourish, and individuals can reach their full potential. They're there to support those who can’t yet be themselves.
But their work is not finished yet. Not until everyone feels free to be who they are, wherever they are.
Stonewall UK has four main priorities: Empowering individuals to be their authentic selves, transforming institutions to make them more inclusive of everyone, changing hearts and minds, and changing and protecting laws.
There are many ways to get involved with Stonewall's work, and they have an international division that is also dedicated to partnering and working with charities across the world.
