(Robin)
He grabbed his backpack off the countertop and headed for the door. He groaned, it was a Monday.
"Someone kill me," he mumbled to himself.
Robin checked his backpack, most likely stalling. He hated school, and Mondays so the combination wasn't the greatest. He stepped outside, something wet speckled his face. It was raining, which was sure to make the day a little better.
Robin smiled to himself, he loved the rain.
He began heading to school if he didn't start now, he was sure to be late. Robin walked to school because Rose rarely ever came home from her job, leaving him to take care of himself. She had an apartment closer to where worked for convenience. He didn't mind though if she did come home, she was sure to be drunk and spitting mad. Robin shivered from the rain and the memories.
He stopped before the school gates and took a deep breath. He leisurely stepped inside the courtyard, pulling his hood up over his face. The stares of everyone burned through his skin, looking at his deepest darkest secrets. Robin shivered again and kept walking towards the front office. The door swung open before he could grab the handle.
"Ah, you must be our new student." the woman said, smiling at him.
"Yes ma'am, I'm Robin," he said trying his best to return the smile.
She frowned suddenly, studying Robin's face.
"Last name?" she asked
"I don't have one ma'am," he replied.
She scoffed and rolled her eyes.
"You must be the problem child." She said. "You may call me Assistant Principal Weathers."
Mrs. Weathers gestured for Robin to follow her inside the building. He obeyed, glancing back before entering.
"Now, we have strict rules here at Willowbrook Academy. School hours are 7:00 to 2:45 if you are late once you will be given one warning and if you are again, there will be consequences," she said giving Robin an ominous stare. "You will receive a list with your classes and break times, school rules, dress code, and a school map. You may eat lunch anywhere as long as you get permission from one of our janitors. We will select a student to show you around the school and your classes."
He blinked, that was a lot of information to take in at once. He glanced around, Robin hadn't realized he was standing in front of a classroom.
Mrs. Weathers knocked on the door, putting on her best smile.
"Mr. Petto, we have a new student here for you," she said.
The door opened.
"Hello, you must be Robin." he addressed Robin first.
Beside him, Mrs. Weathers huffed.
Mr. Petto was a wiry man, tall and lanky. He had a scraggly chin and graying hair swept back hastily. He was wearing a light blue button-up shirt and a grey tie. He smiled:
"Here, come on in," he said shifting around to let Robin through. Once he was inside, he went back to his desk and sat at the rolling chair placed there.
"Class, this is Robin, Robin why don't you tell us about yourself?" he asked.
Robin wrung his hands, he could feel his thoughts spiking to how everyone was staring at him. He could feel sweat lick the back of his neck.
"It's okay, you don't have to say anything." Mrs. Petto said reading Robin's expression.
"You can sit in the back with Amelia," He said turning his attention back to the class.
