Among the stars, there are many worlds filled with life, unknown to many however many believe they may truly encounter one from another universe. If we're being honest it doesn't happen often as many fear things they don't truly understand leading to many hiding in plain sight just out of reach. This is a tale unlike any other as an unknown species will be forced to cross paths with mankind, the world may not be ready for this encounter but maybe if all goes well they can restore peace to what was lost...
A powerful thunderstorm is underway sending heavy winds and large drops of rain under the midnight sky as the full moon sits high in the sky watching. As below a mystic forest lays below with its large trees with massive leafs dripping drops of rain below. Splash! afoot comes sprinting through the forest, on a dark mysterious figure leaving a trail of lit grass as he runs quickly through the forest. The animals of the forest quickly begin picking up on its presence as it looks towards them with its bright blue eyes before leaping off of a cliff into the deep forest...
Boom! sounds of thunder and lightning clap over the city as many were inside resting during the midnight hours however somewhere in this massive city lies an orphanage. Within that orphanage sits a young girl on a lonely bed as her silk smooth black hair lays gently upon her face as she sits with her knees to her face as she sits thinking. Whats it would be like beyond this place she would often ask her self as slowly lifts her head from her knees glancing over towards the window. She would watch as the rain ran down the window thinking of a day where she is able to go wherever and do whatever her heart desired to the full extent. Upon taking a deep breath she would look over towards her roommate wondering if she thought the same thing but she could tell as her roommate was in deep sleep. One day the day will come she tells her self as she would begin to try to lay down and get some rest before it was time to get up in the morning gently pulling the covers up to her face as she places her head on the pillow.
As the storm cleared, the rain clouds would begin to slowly disappear bringing forth the morning's clear skies as the sun's bright ray's filled the world. Meanwhile, as the sun was up she would be having a dream of a lifetime, running along lush Greenlands embracing a sight of nothing short from amazing as the land was full of wildlife and adventure as if anything were possible. She would close her eyes as she ran suddenly bumping into something hard sending her flying back onto the ground. Upon sitting on the ground she would look up to see a creature coated in darkness with its razor-sharp teeth staring towards her like a rapid animal out for vengeance. As the creature would attack she would awaken from her sleep, slowly opening her eyes to see the light shining in from the window as she hears the others up and moving about. Knowing the sun was now high in the skies Momiji just didn't really want to get up as she felt as if she had seen it all at the orphanage.
Taking a deep breath she would lower her head back up under her covers to hopefully return to dreamland, well until she would begin to hear heavy footsteps coming from the hallway. It would be one of the sisters who would be coming around on her daily duties checking on everyone shortly taking notice that one of the girls was still lying in bed. As everyone would begin to head downstairs the sister would slowly begin to make her way into one of the female's rooms where the girl laid under the sheets. As she began to reach for the sheets she would begin to hear a soft voice...
"Sister why am I here," asked Momiji bringing a slightly surprised look to the sister's face. She would sit beside Momiji as she was wrapped in her sheets and tell her.
"Child your here for a reason just like every other living being", causing Momiji to quickly sit up from her bed and look towards the sister.
"No, why am I here? in this place" she would ask with a worrying look upon her face as she just felt odd. The sister wouldn't really know what to tell her so instead of saying anything she would just ask that Momiji would get dress and join the others downstairs with a smile upon her face. Momiji would feel sad on the inside as she just didn't understand. As Momiji got dressed she would slowly make her way downstairs to meet the others. As she approached the bottom of the stairway she would look towards the front door wondering just when would her day come when she leaves this place into an open adventure. Looking into the dining room full of orphans she would look sadly before heading in looking for an empty seat. Taking a spot next to the window looking to the outside playground as the father would take to the center of the room for morning prayer as the others would begin to pass out the plates.
A few hours later they would be let outside to the playground and Momiji would always to the top of the tower looking out to the open streets where civilians would be walking, cars would be driving and the sky would be full of vibrant colors. Every day since she could remember Momiji would always come to this same spot and look down to the other children going about their lives having fun. Her, on the other hand, was seeking something else, something worth wild.
Today there was something a mist about the world as the peaceful clouds floated above elder gentlemen would catch Momiji's eye as he was preparing to cross the street with a young woman helping him carry some groceries from the local convenient store. As they cross the street talking they would suddenly look up and spot a young girl sitting on top of the playground set as her smooth black hair laid upon her shoulders as she looked back towards them. The elder would continue to look towards the young girl as they walked by, suddenly he would slowly wave towards her. The woman would begin to look towards the lonely girl as well before saying...
"Come along father"
"The look in her eyes, did you see it. They remind me of someone I used to know" said the elder as they would head up the street. Momiji wasn't sure what the elder was talking about as she saw nothing in her eyes, she could only wonder what he meant by that. Though it would have to wait as it was time for the children to head back inside.
