Neither knew who had suggested it first. Maybe one of them had mentioned wanting to try it or maybe Greer had said something. Either way, here they were. On a date. A perfectly, everyday normal date. At a museum. At night.
“That one would look lovely on you, Storm.” Dewi says leaning closer to Blake as they passed a display of delicately crafted jewelry.
“Prince~ you promised to cut down on the gifts tonight…”
“So, you don’t want it?”
“....I didn’t say that… but we’re not here to shop. We’re here to do the ‘normal date’ thing.”
Dew smirks. “The ‘normal date thing’ is go out for coffee or a movie. Casing a museum is a villain’s date.”
“People go to museums for dates…”
“Yeah, but not to case the place for a heist. And it’s usually while the place is open.”
“Would you have still agreed to come if I invited you to do that instead….?” Blake seems hesitant, as if he’s unsure of the answer.
“Of course, I would agree. I’d go anywhere with you. I just like spending time with you.”
Blake snorts, trying to not sound so pleased with Dew’s answer. “...Flirt.”
“Aw, you know you love me, My Little Nightmare.”
“In your dreams, Preppy Prince.”
Greer’s voice comes through both their ear pieces. “...Um, Guys… You do realize you have the comms on, right?”
