NOTES
Ha. See what I did with the title? Anyway, this episode is kinda where my friend Vero and I get introduced. BTW, if you don't know what an Inhuman is than this is a MUST READ BELOW TO UNDERSTAND STORY. An inhuman comes up in agents of shield. About a tenth of the population on earth is an inhuman. If someone were to touch a special crystal, they could be covered in rock. About a few seconds later, the rock crumbles away. If they are inhuman, they will be left unharmed and with superpowers and those who aren't just crumble away. If you are new PLZ read the first chapter and comment with a chance to be featured.
The class erupted into cheers. All worry of Loki had been blown away by the excitement. Everyone was exited for the week long stay at Stark Tower. Everyone except Peter.
He sat in shock. How had this happened!? Was this Tony's idea? This was not going to go well.
The teacher started passing out the permission slips and told them that they had to be signed and ready by tomorrow or they wouldn't be going. Peter wished he could not have his form signed. But if Tony really did do this, he wan't getting off this easy.
All to soon, the bell rang, signaling the end of class. Peter could feel everyone's eyes on him all the way to his locker. Loki was picking him up today. Why had Loki said that in front of his class? Peter also knew that he would have to give the "No murdering" to everyone again. If they would even listen.
Peter walked out into the bright sunlight outside of midtown tech. He looked around for Loki, expecting him to be in his usual black suit but there was no sign of him anywhere. Suddenly, a flash of red cought his eye. He looked around to a shady spot of the school. Leaning agenst the wall was three teenagers.
"Hi Veronica. Hi Taylor." Peter said as he walked over to them.
"I told you." Veronica said. "It's Vero."
"Oh, right." Peter said.
The third teen he didn't recognize until looking him right in the eye.
"Hi Loki." He said.
Teen Loki was wearing a pair of black pants with black combat boots and a dark green jacket with the words, I DO WHAT I WANT, sprawled across the front. His hair was about the same but just a bit shorter as well. He grumbled something in asgaurdian pulled his phone and air pods out of his pocket.
Peter than turned to Taylor and Vero.
"Hi. What are you doing here?"
Taylor and Veronica had been two of the best interns in Stark Tower. Vero was the daughter of the inhuman Daisy Johnson. She had brought her best friend Taylor to Stark Tower and they shared a lab in the upper levels. One day, a few inhuman crystals came through the lab. Unfortunately, DUM-E happened to drop one of them and it shattered, releasing the inhuman mist. Vero knew she could survive the mist but was not of age yet and they didn't know if Taylor would survive the terregenesis.
Wanda and Loki happened to walk into the lab to see them encased in rock. Loki had ran over to Taylor while Wanda ran to Vero. Once the rock had crumbled away, they were relieved that they had survived. Ironically though, when Wanda and Loki had run to the girls, a bit of their magic had rubbed off on them and so, Taylor had gotten the powers of illusion and shape shifting and making portals, along with her inhuman power of not having to sleep. Veronica had gotten mind reading and manipulation along with the ability to move plasmic balls of energy. The inhuman power she had gotten along with it was the ability to learn things really quickly. She had learned martial arts, french, Latin, Russian and memorized just about every line of all of her favorite movies. Today, Taylor was wearing navy blue pants and a light blue hoodie. The tips of her long brown hair were dyed a shocking red. Vero was wearing black pants and a white shirt with a hat saying, legend in the making. Taylor spoke up to Peter's question. "We came to pick you up with Loki. The lab was very boring and DUM-E kept spraying the fire extinguisher at anyone who walked by the 94th floor hallway."
A honking noise sounded from the sidewalk and peter turned to see Happy in a black SUV. He groaned inwardly.
"Cant we just teleport to SI? Please?"
"No." All three of them said at the same time.
Peter trudged with them and got in the SUV.
As soon as he sat down, Taylor was already pulling out her phone to connect it to the car's bluetooth.
"Ok, what song are we listening to?" She asked.
"Machene Gun Kelly!" Vero yelled.
"No!" Happy said.
"Why!?" Vero said.
"I will not expose you to such-"
Vero had he hand extended and Peter knew she was just, changing his opinion. Five seconds later, Machine Gun Kelly was blaring over the car speakers.
Danger, one of us just lost our savior
Gotta maintain when you're going insane, so I say this prayer
Dear God, why do I need this medicine to control my anger?
And do you even exist? They're trying to say it's a myth
Lotta things left unsaid, lotta things left unanswered
Dad just got out of rehab
But I guess I lucked up
And I feel this pain because it probably won't be until
The day I die that they love us
But trust, every nomination I don't get
Every list that I ain't on
Is a reminder of why I wrote songs in the first place
As a way to escape where I came from
[Chorus]
This just my pretty toxic
Heavy conscience weighing on my soul
Six shots in my revolver
When I'm on my own
[Verse 2]
And the year spent on that road
Before they came to our shows
We were creating our lane, I hope they pave it in gold
Take me home, somewhere I belong
Yeah, isn't it funny that whenever you got a vision
A mission and a couple of plans to go with it
Somebody gotta come along mad and damage it
Like a cancer that inhabits never banishes
I managed to smoke five grams of cannabis
And still keep my stamina for the fans and the goddamn cameras
That attack my stance like Evangelists
I said truth and they couldn't handle it
So when it sinks you stand in it
I guess this is my Titanic
With no James Cameron to direct this draft of it
Just my
[Chorus]
Pretty toxic heavy conscience
Weighing on my soul
Six shots in my revolver
When I'm on my own, back against the wall
It got me anxious
Helpless, frigid, cold
Late nights drinking on my own
Now I'm fearless, Al Capone
To my dearest, I ain't gone
Taylor looked over at Vero a raised an eyebrow at her. Peter was sitting in his seat hoping they were almost home.
