Mir felt like his brain mushed up upon impact and he can feel it vibrating from the center to the external. The pain reverberates like sound waves, and his thoughts are not smooth as before. It’s like getting suddenly hit with a bad hungover 3 times the strength.
He falls to the ground and his torch light and revolver drops to the floor. The head is spinning like crazy. A strong sense of nausea is trying to push everything out of his stomach. It's making him feel sick. Before the enemy attacks, he must gather enough strength to fight back. In this partial darkness, it’s impossible to find and get his revolver in time. The next attack is coming. It's all or nothing.
Mir gathers every ounce of his will power, rage, concentration and strength to return a blow.
The space is limited. Not enough room for long range movements.
There is a deadly kick raging towards Mir. He dodges it, rolls over and quickly jumps a step back immediately after standing up. He can't distant himself more than that. It's a dead end. He has hit the wall.
He can see the shadow of the man running towards him. Instead of raging, Mir relaxes his body. His head is still spinning and the pain is still scratching his consciousness.
He throws the rear leg towards the mysterious figure and strikes with the lower shin. It’s a quick strike on the opponent before he sees it coming. The kick is swung and then snapped in front of him to give the attack more power and velocity.
In momentum, Mir throws another consecutive kick. The kick hits the inner thigh and compresses the femoral artery and shocks the man, weakening his or her fighting ability.
Right after that, Mir tries to give another round kick, but the man instantly blocks it using his shin.
While the man is still unbalanced, Mir goes for the punch in the face.
Surprisingly, instead of blocking the punch, the man is also shooting a fist blow to Mir's face. Is it a punch? It looks like the man is trying to grab Mir's face. Or, is he planning to grab Mir's throat to choke him. May be he can't think clearly in heat of the fight. Trying to do however his body is reacting instinctively.
Before Mir's punch landed, the man's hand grabs Mir's face with a nose-rag. The handkerchief places over the nostrils of unsuspecting Mir. Aroma of neuroleptic sedative storms his nostrils and olfactory nerves.
However, Mir's punch embarks on the mans face. Kaboom THWACK.
The man shouts with a small "ugh".
He is still holding on to the nose-rag with all his might. Mir quickly gives a major smack in his hand. The man screams in pain and loses the grip to his medicine induced handkerchief.
Extreme feeling of sleepiness crowding Mir's responsiveness, gradually numbimg his alertness down.
With the dim light of a small flame of consciousness illuminating the sense of reality, Mir blows another punch, but the man blocks it with his hands and punches Mir to the chest. A strong sound of throb. Hellish pain surges throughout the body. Breathing slows down.
Everything is shaky in Mirs eyes. Darkness is surrounding the vision. A sense of euphoria engulfs the mind. He plummets to a deep slumber.
