Jack sighed as he filled two tall glasses with imported IPAs.
"Why so glum, chum?"
He frowned and shrugged, glancing briefly at Fiona.
"Ah...it's nothing."
"Oh yeah? Doesn't sound like it. Get dumped?" The Latina mix beauty asked as she pulled back her pastel pink hair into a bun a top her head.
"Not exactly..." he said as he rubbed the back of his neck, handing off the beers.
"Oh, ho ho...what's this now? What happened? Give me the 'deets!"
Someone was trying to flag her down at the bar but she was totally ignoring them in favor of hearing what her boss and friend had to say that had him saying such things.
"Ye sound like a teenager."
"Come on, you might feel better?"
Jack took someones credit card first and began to cash them out while he explained to Fee. "Fine, well, ye know how Abby started fifth grade last week?"
"Yeah, yeah, get to the juicy bits."
He eyed her and shook his head. "Well anyway..."
Jack told the tale of Abby's first day and the extremely attractive teacher. As they were treated to what the curriculum was going to be like and all the future activities for the year and what as parents they can do, Jack could hardly focus. Mr. Fujimori went around towards the end offering information to the parents and meeting them officially.
Jack couldn't help but follow him around the room. The teacher's thick black hair was ridiculously fluffy and trimmed short. He had thin, tortoiseshell round frames on. He was even dressed like a cute fashionable nerd with black slim slacks, a heather blue collared dress shirt tucked in all neatly with sleeves rolled to his elbows, and dark green suspenders. Jack had to smirk when he saw that he too wore converse. They were in much better condition, almost pristine, and green and white unlike Jack's classic black and white.
When the adorable, shorter man finally got to him, Jack's grin was fully flirtatious. He shook his hand, a very beautiful hand.
"Hello, and who are you and your child?" Mr. Fujimori asked completely oblivious to this smile so it seemed. Jack noted his dark brown eyes and long lashes.
"Jack Mckinley, my daughter is Abby over there," he said pointing to her still in her seat. He ignored the fact that she was giving him a weird look.
"Ah of course, well I look forward to teaching her and hope to have your support," he said glancing at said daughter than back at Jack.
Jack's expression was full of saucy meaning as he said his next words. "Och aye, ye will fully have it, Mr. Fujimori." He even winked like a fucking idiot.
Unfortunately, the cute teacher seemed completely unfazed and carried on. Jack's expression faltered and he caught his daughter's eyes. He shrugged at her giving a expression of 'what?'. She rolled her eyes and her expression seemed more like a warning. His daughter knew him too well. She's too mature for her age, honestly.
"Whoa, you totally just spaced out, Jackie. Come back to us!" Fiona slapped his back and he blinked, shaking his head.
"Ha, sorry," he chuckled a little awkwardly.
"Damn, shot down so soon. Have you lost your touch, Cassanova?" She laughed.
"Hilarious, now get back to work before I fire yer arse!"
"Empty threats, my friend," she smirked but did as he said. He sighed but he was smiling lightly. Eh, maybe he's just not into dudes. Jack shrugged to himself and went back to work too.
Meanwhile, in Abigail McKinley's classroom Mr. Fujimori aka Sasha was at his desk while his students were quietly working on math problems. He was going over tomorrow's lesson plan. However, his mind kept getting distracted. Said distraction had green eyes, tattoos, and a very fit build. Had that been a motorcycle helmet? That smile too...'Och aye, ye will fully have it, Mr. Fujimori.' He felt suddenly very warm.
No, no, no! Do not start fantasizing about one of your student's dads. NO! Sasha began to slap his face lightly with both hands to rid himself of the images.
"Um...Mr. Fujimori, are you okay?"
One of his male students up front asked. Now blushing a little from embarrassment, he cleared his throat. He fixed his slightly skewed glasses and stood up. "I'm fine. Let's move on class, shall we?"
