I grab my books on strategy and head to the battlefield, seeing Lo come over to me; his gold hair going in his eyes. I look at him then smile, “Hey,” I say as he looks at me and grins, his green eyes cloudier than usual.
I look at him then frown slightly, “Another fight?” I ask as he looks at me and tilts his head, playing with the corner of his ring that comes to a point, “You know I’m a Miles,” he says and shakes his head.
“Yeah but…” I say and look down. I feel his gaze before he pats my head, me smelling the old blood on his sleeves. I cringe as he sighs, “You’re plan, it worked. Thank you,” he says as I look up at him and tilt my head, “It did?” I ask as we move past people, the Miles with their Captains.
He nods and takes out the paper from his pants, “Yeah man, your strategy was way better than any of the Captains I’ve had before. And it will be choosin’ time soon, won’ it?” he asks.
I give him a sideways glance, “Yeah,” I say slowly.
“And you’re at the top of your class, ain’t you?” he asks as he tilts his head. I shrug and put my palm against the reader as the two doors open. I hear yelling and howling as Lo goes through first. I go in last as the doors close behind us.
I look around, the rails glowing blue as the arena is blocked for the next hour. I tsk and head to the seat, setting my books down before I grab my table, typing in my password before it unlocks.
“So, who am I fighting this time?” He asks and leans against my shoulder. I put my hand on his forehead, pushing him back, “No one, I have another person to help,” I say as he pouts and sits next to me.
I look at him and raise an eyebrow, “Why are you pouting?” I ask as he looks at me, “Because your plans are amazin’!” he says and leans forward, grinning as I see the look in his eyes from before, the look where he’s excited. A similar look to when he’s killin’. I think before I smile softly.
I hear the doors open as he blinks before straightening, looking at the doors as I turn; seeing a tall guy with red hair, his eyes black and demon-like as he scans the place. His eyes move quickly before they meet mine as my eyebrows raise, “Must be him,” I say as I stand and head over.
He comes over slowly, a chain hanging from his jeans as he just wears a leather jacket and jeans.
“I’m-”
“Kyma,” he says and gives a slow smile, his eyes brightening slightly, “Sanguis Lopus, but you can call me Lupus,” He says and winks at me. I blink rapidly before I nod, “Alright then, I will be your Captain for the next two rounds,” I say as he nods and heads over to my table.
I blink and follow him as Lo eyes him before looking at me, tilting his head. I look at him then shrug before I sit down, “So-”
“I hear you are first in your class,” Lupus says as I look at him before I watch his previous matches; using a sword as the demons stumble over, giving a shriek before going after him. I feel him look over my shoulder as I don’t see his eyes before he looks up, his eyes wide with a giant grin before he disappears, reappearing behind one of them as he slides the blade from its shoulder to it’s pelvic.
Jesus. I think as the blood splatter goes across the ground, the blood dripping from the blade. Another demon shrieks as two go after him, his grin somehow growing wider before he runs towards them, he’s….insane. I think before I stop it, looking at him.
He looks at me and tilts his head before grinning, “So, whatcha’ think?” he asks as I stare at him, he’s a dangerous man...too dangerous for his own good.
