16. Afternoon is the calm, kindled warrior, who usually just goes with the flow of whatever is happening, but if it gets too much, he knows how to stand his ground.
A day before the events of Evening with Aster, Anun calmly walks around his realm of white silk clouds and gold, which is up high on the mountain that Noon's realm is on, along with Morning's.
As he walks around with his spirits, preparing to do his bidding to kill the Adens during his set time, the older spirit woman Anora walks up to him, saying to him in a breathy undertone voice due to walking so far to get to him, "here, have this pot, it was given to me by Lady Maldu, it has some special Kirin in it she said."
Afternoon turns around to her, "ah, thank you, now go back in your tent and get some rest, that walk was too long for you."
"Well, thank you, Anun, but you yourself still need to be very careful also, I had to pass Twilight when I came back up here, and as usual he had his golden mask on, usually when he wears that, it doesn't always mean the best." Anora smiles at him and leaves.
"Oh, well alright then, stay safe."
Standing back up, Afternoon thinks to himself, "what now is Takashi's problem?"
Anun walks inside his open front home after and reads the letter that's attached to it, he opens the green letter. with it saying,
"Keep this Kirin safe, Anun, I give it to you since you have the highest realm here, beside Dae-mi's. Keep it in your home, keep it in the safest place there, let it be high or low, but hidden, so that it will come into important, I say important contact later, let no one else have it, let it be safe, and let the blue and green a light."
Anun looks studies the letter, saying "This last sentence must be a riddle, let the blue and green a light...What must it mean?"
Anun looks in the bowl and sees the bright green Kirin oil, he closes the bowl and keeps it safe in his home under his floor bed. While this, before he does his bidding, he seeks for what the riddle could be, but by this time Afternoon heads out to do his time.
Never getting the chance to find out the riddle before the night came in.
