Poe found Finn still asleep the next morning. 

"Oh brother" he whispered. 

He grabbed two metal treys that were sitting on his desk and slammed them together.

 The crashing sound woke Finn up, but also made him tumble out of his cot. 

"Come on sleepy" Poe said.

 "You were supposed to be up an hour ago so we could go find out whats happening to Rey." 

Finn sat up and glared at him. 

"You act like it's no big deal Poe, but i'm really worried about Rey."

 Poe sighed. "I'm worried too. But the sooner we do this the sooner we can fix whats bothering her.

 Finn got dressed and they both trekked the hill in the forest to Rey's cabin.

 She had insisted it be build far out from the base for some reason. 

"Why do you think Rey wanted her cabin all the way out here? I mean, everyone else would want their cabin built closer to base in case of an attack."

 Poe looked at him, surprised. 

"Didn't you hear Rey talking to Leia when she asked her where to put it?" 

Finn's blank face told him no.

 "She was talking to Leia about her cabin being far out so it would be easier for when "It" happened." 

"What did she mean by "It"?" Finn asked.

 "I guess were about to find out." Poe replied. 

Finn was feeling confident that he would find out what was bothering Rey. 

Maybe he could help her stop "It" what ever it was and solve it easily.

 He hated seeing Rey sobbing in the last few weeks but this happy go lucky Rey was creeping him out even more.

 And who was Ben?

 Was he a pilot? 

Maybe Rey had taken a fancy to him.

 Finn shuttered at the thought.

 He liked Rey.

 He would never admit it but he really liked Rey and he wished that she would like him back. 

But if she wanted to put him in the friend zone he wasn't going to argue. 

If she wanted to mourn Ben he guessed it was okay. 

The ridge of her cabin came into view over the tree roots of the jungle.

 It was built for one person but still had plenty of space.

 A clanking noise echoed through the jungle.

 Finn and Poe twirled around to see where it had come from.

 It sounded like metal on metal. 

Oh no. Rey must be in a fight!

 Finn ran twords the noise.

 As he rounded a clump of trees and pushed aside a log, he went rigid and had to cover his mouth to stop himself from screaming.

 Kylo Ren was standing there.

 Fighting Rey. 

They seemed to be using metal staffs.

 Rey was holding the very same one she had used in Jakku, but it looked like the end had been wielded off.

 He could not believe that KYLO REN was in their base.

 How did he get here?

 How could he let this happen to Rey?

 He didn't dare move as he watched them fight.

 Rey kicked of a tree and tried an attack from above but Kylo deflected it.

 He stepped forwards to try and put her in a choke hold with it but she escaped easily.

 But there was something wrong. 

They were both missing that murderous look in their eyes.

 The one that was always there when they fought.

 On the contuary, they both had a gentle look to them. 

WHY WOULD REY WANT TO BE GENTLE WITH THIS MONSTER!?! 

Maybe he had been threatening her this whole time. 

Maybe he killed Ben whoever that was.

 And where was his helmet?

 He watched as Rey swept her staff under his feet and Kylo fell on his back.

 She stood above him with the end of her staff poised above his chest. 

Finn wanted to cheer but he knew that would distract her from killing him. 

It took Finn a while to realize that Rey was smiling.

 A warm gentle smile. 

And more shockingly, so was Kylo.

 "You're getting better." She said to him.

 And Kylo CHUCKLED at her. 

She put her had out to him and he TOOK it and she pulled him to his feet.

 Finn was in so much shock that it was a few seconds before he noticed that Poe was squeezing his hand so hard that he thought it might come off.

 What happened next really did make Finn scream. 

Kylo Ren picked up Rey, twirled her around in the air, and put her down right in front of him. Than, they both leaned in, and kissed. 

And then Finn screamed.
