15. Evening is the sweet and caring warrior, and she would do the best she can do to protect what’s best for her realm and all of the world.
On a very rainy night, during the time of Noon’s idea proposition. Evening starts playing around with her golden staff but playing is her term of practicing. As she is practicing, her pet Aster walks in her vaguely open room, as Aster loves anything gold, he is always drawn to it whenever it is in his sight.
He immediately sniffs around the room, but Evening accidently hits Aster while swinging, not seeing him until after. Aster begins running around crazily, “Aster! Wait!”
Evening catches him and says, “I didn’t know you were behind me, I’m sorry, Aster," she looks up, "guards!”
The guards run up to her and put Aster down making sure he’s still, Evening takes out her charm and heals him with it.
“Evening? No! Lady Maldu strictly said that you are not supposed to use your crystal that way yet!” One of the guards remind her. “Huh? Oh right," she looks around, "dang it, I need to heal him as soon as possible, I already put it on him.”
Seeing his face wound glowing from a strong bright white light, Aster starts healing slowly, but Evening, knowing that she was not supposed to do that, starts crying after, "Twilight is right, I can be a bit dramatic...I shouldn't have used that."
Sad about it, the spirits comfort her. Then Aster starts glowing again, a much softer light that simmers down to where you just see him lifting his head up, looking normal again. Letting Evening lift her head up saying, “It’s working though, just like I thought.”
A radiate glow starts to shine over her entire realm, causing her people to come out and stare at it in amazement. Since Evening has a caregiving mind, her spirits do also. Her realm is composed of gold as well and filled with bridges and painting like sceneries.
The lights shined so bright, that even the darkest places were well lit. This causes the rain to stop, but only in Evenings realm.
Evening walks outside after hearing the clamor of her spirits talking all about the light, she sits there watching her people, and instead of crying in sadness, she cries with joy, she even starts laughing, "this is so beautiful to see, wow..."
Then her guards show up saying to her, “Aster is asleep now.”
“That's good, everything seems to be fine, even though I used my crystal."
“Are you sure? Are these lights supposed to be?”
“We should go see Lady Maldu, I'll let her know what happened.”
...
Walking up to Lady Maldu’s home, they end up running into Afternoon who oddly isn’t with his bird Galaxy.
“Hey, Anun.” Evening waves happily at him.
Afternoon looks surprised to see her, “what is your business this late?" He looks over, notcing the three guards holding Aster, "is he okay?"
"Yeah," she looks back over to Aster then back to Afternoon, "I accidently hit him with my staff while praticing..."
"Be careful!" He walks over to Aster, "he's a big but delicate creature you know."
"Of course I know, that's why I'm taking him to Lady Maldu, to make sure he is okay and will get his kirin."
"You don't have the kirin on you?"
"Do you Anun?"
He stutters a bit, "I don't, its in my room."
"Like I thought," she chuckles a bit, "but seriously though, I hope you're enjoying your realm."
"I am, and also," he abruptly adds after, "if I did have the kirin I would definitey help out."
"I know." She smiles at him.
He then looks down, rubbing his hair again, "I'm just wondering, have you seen Night lately? I assumed he was with you since you two are always together.”
“Yeah eariler I did when I was with Morning, he should be in his realm now, that's what he told me.”
“I’ll check again."
"Okay."
Afternoon turns back to her saying, "I'm sure Aster is okay, now good night."
She nods in agreeing then says back to him, "good night Anun."
...
Now walking in the forest at night, still well-lit and bright, they walk inside her home and see Maldu sitting criss cross on the floor with her eyes closed.
Evening walks over to her, standing before Maldu saying, “Lady Maldu, I have come to let you know about Aster, I’ve mistakenly used my crystal to heal his wound this night, he is asleep now and I haven't fully used my crystals power, so we have come for your help, with some more Kirin instead.”
“That’s interesting, but all warriors know to never use your crystals until the final battle, you have only done something bad to yourself, but I appreciate the fact that you were only trying to keep your pet alive, but Kirin is here for the situations of now."
“Sincerely, I apologize, Lady Maldu, I must have forgotten.”
“It was a long time ago, but as warriors now, you have no excuse, just come here for the Kirin next time, and give you some more.”
Lady Maldu walks over to the wounded creature and heals him with prayer and the Kirin, an oil for healing, only useful for the warriors and creatures. It cures every and all kinds of wounds, "now how did this even happen?”
“My staff, I accidently hit him with it, I didn’t know he was in my room, I thought he was still outside.”
“Hmph, just be careful next time.”
“Yes, I will.” Bowing her head, Lady Maldu walks over to Evening, lifting her head up and wiping away a tear from her eye, "it's going to be okay, I'm just going to need you to keep your crystal safe, don’t end up like Daylight, what she did with hers that is.”
“Okay…”
...
That night as Evening is sleeping, she starts hearing a strange sound outside her home, she gets up and looks out seeing nothing. So, when she goes back to sleep, the sound of tapping on her window is heard, and light shining like the sun enters her window, almost blinding her a bit, "what was that??"
She budges up, looking around and seeing nothing now. When it goes away, she sees a reflection of herself in the window, but…it’s her before she was a warrior, the reflection of Princess Ella-Sophia from the Rodarion Tribe of the Hislapean Nation, smiling at her, then it fades away quickly and turns into a Aden monster and runs away.
“Aah!” Running to get her staff, Evening runs out of her room, wondering where the Aden went as she searches around for it, but not seeing it after fifteen minutes, she turns back around goes back into her room.
She then falls back into her bed, trying her best to just fall asleep and not think on what she just saw and heard.
