11. Now making it up the mountain, all armored and ready for any type of threat to come their way.
With Noon’s warrior outfit being a dark red leather suit and brown hood, yellow boots that match his orange tattoos, and a black necklace and bracelet on his left arm. His pants are a dark gold as well with designs of animal print on it.
Along with Evening’s warrior outfit being armored breast plates that's blue and gold, with an armored dress on that is orange and gold. Her short green boots match well with her outfit, even her messy bun and headband. She has her golden staff as a weapon.
Everyone has their weapons drawn as they walk up the scary, but beautiful mountain.
The path is steep and turns in both directions, with a big beautiful view of the terrain at the bottom. They make it to a cave like opening around the mist of the mountain and go in there to finally take a break.
“This should do, especially after all that happened.” Afternoon replies, shifting his eyes to Dawn a little as she sits down, pondering it all still.
“Yeah, it sure looks comfortable enough.” Evening replies back, sitting by Dawn with her arms around her.
Night notices the nice gestures that Evening is showing Dawn, he sits beside Evening and says to her, "it's nice that you two are close, you know, that's good for us warriors to be close to one another." He says that as if he is trying to make a statement or such.
"We get it, Night." Morning says, annoyed by everything at this point. He frowns at her, but before saying anything else, Midnight starts saying, “let’s only stay here for about another thirty minutes to an hour, because we need to keep going.”
“That’s it?” Night complains with his hands up, still ready to say something to Morning.
Midnight gives him an annoyed look as well, with Night instantly backing off once seeing Midnight’s suddenly stern gesture.
With this, they stay for a while to prepare for their climb to the top.
As they walk back up later, Dawn starts saying, “Did all of this to get to him too, it’s almost like I didn’t fully understand my brother like I thought.”
“Don’t think like that, Dawn.” Afternoon replies.
Then Noon replies with, “I know why,” shifting his eyes to her.
“Let’s just keep going.” Midnight replies, serious as ever as he tries to fulfill the mission.
They keep walking up the mountain, but once doing so, Night notices something strange, causing him to stop walking for a bit, saying, “hey, has anyone noticed that there are no creatures up here but ours?”
“That is weird.” Evening replies back, looking around with him.
Suddenly Afternoon hears the sound of someone’s footsteps coming towards them, “did you guys hear that?”
“Hear what?” Dawn questions.
The sound continues, causing everyone to walk slowly. Eventually it comes back again, letting Midnight tell everyone to stop walking so that they can hear the sound of the footsteps more clearly.
The area they are in is surrounded by snow and bushes, so, the sound could be from anywhere.
Midnight swings his sword at the noisy bush, letting Dusk suddenly come out saying, “damn, you almost hit me!”
“You scared us!” Evening shouts, with all of them having their weapons out.
“So, you guys made it…That’s great.”
“Dusk!”
Dawn runs and hugs him, but after a few seconds they let each other go, with Dusk saying, “looking for Twilight too?”
Noon immediately laughs at her, "she's a part of the problem apparently."
“Let it go, Noon.” Midnight says harshly.
“Listen, I found Daylight, I know you guys want to see her, but I just wish…”
He starts to hesitate as he looks at everyone else, then he blurts out, “I wish you would not have agreed on something like that! Look at what you did to yourself, I talked to you to change your mind, but you just lied to him, and now he hates you for it!”
"About Twilight? You're yelling at me about something I said three years ago?"
"Yes, you didn’t do that wisely, Dawn.”
Dawn looks down in shame, but Morning starts saying, “forget this, let’s go, let's worry about this later."
Then she puts her hand on Dawn's shoulder saying, "we will get this figured out, Dawn.” Then gives her one cold but bright smile.
They all walk up the path with Dawn lingering behind them, lost in all her thoughts about her situation with Twilight, thinking all about Twilight. While this, Dusk leads them to where Daylight is.
On top of the mountain it is very cold and still topped with precipitation.
And on a big white stone stands a young girl, playing a harp-like instrument, that’s brown with sharp razor sides. The sound of it is like the harp, violin, and flute mixed together, creating a loud and vivid song that will wonderfully pierce through anybody, by vibration and sound.
She is wearing a long light blue dress, with white leggings and blue shoes. Her hair is long and black, and she has yellowish tint skin as well. She also has on light blue gloves.
Her eyes are dark brown on the side, but her pupils are blue, and while her hair is just flowing in her face, it also is blowing in the wind as she plays through the windy mountain top.
She appears gentle, but is quietly harsh as she doesn't react to any of them yet. She stands up and closes her eyes, looking up to the sky after hearing all of their footsteps.
Dusk runs up to Daylight and kneels down saying, “why did you run up here? What is the purpose for your escape?”
Daylight says nothing, letting Noon say, “if she is not going to answer now, then she will not the other times we try to speak to her.”
As he says this, Twilight comes from behind Daylight’s polar bear, he looks her in her face and says, “Dae-mi, speak damnit!”
Daylight looks at Twilight in shock, hesitating to say, “Twilight, you call me by my name?” With a light voice.
“Daylight, you didn’t listen to me, I told you it will destroy us, I want to take care of this land, not have us control the 100-year span demon itself, we will kill it, straight up, like we’re supposed to.”
Midnight walks over saying, “Twilight, we do not kill the 100-year span’s body, we kill its crystal, it’s why we have crystals, it's to help destroy its life force, so that it never comes back again."
“Really? So, all of our teachings we got apparently did not teach that we are to get rid of the despicable spirit of the 100-year span demon? Itself, as a whole, not its crystal? The crystal is made for us.”
“Yes, but it represents the body, and that also includes the body of the 100-year span demon.”
“Stop!” Daylight shouts at both of them, “we have time to do this, the power of the 100-year span demon takes time, and it changes over time, this is what I’ve learned while here, meditating. We do neither yet, what we are to look to is our mysterious realms of time, our mystery lies ahead from it, just like the death of the 100-year span demon.”
“A realm of time?” Noon questions.
“That’s ridiculous, no way we are here with this curse, only to not know what to do with it, until the day itself.” Twilight crosses his arms, "we learned that during training."
“I came all the way to this mountain to find the truth, and I got it, because this is the place where it awoke, this is its birthplace, so this is where it all happened and where it will change.”
As Daylight speaks her voice is soft and light, regardless of all the bickering around her.
Twilight draws his sword, but Daylight shifts her eyes towards him saying, “If you try to attack me, you are only going to attack yourself, do not be mad that I’m speaking the truth.”
“This is ridiculous, Daylight, for a month we see you again and you’re speaking this!” Morning says angrily.
“Yeah, like how is this supposed to save us?” Afternoon replies.
Midnight slams his weapon on the ground, cracking the ground, saying, “this has changed so many times, from trapping it, defending it, now controlling it, to don’t worry about it, this is not good, Daylight.”
“Twilight starts saying, “you make it seem like we are training for nothing.”
“Trust me, Takashi, I’ve still been training.”
Evening starts saying, “maybe the realm of time is like another part of being a warrior?”
“Yes, it is.” Daylight says this to confirm her belief on this.
Twilight draws his weapon at Daylight saying, “no, I did not tell you to come up here and give me false information about how our lives are now.”
Dawn replies with, “why?”
Daylight calls for her white bear Venus, then she takes her instrument and changes it to a sword like weapon, with knives hidden in the instrument. She starts saying, “it is what it is.”
Then Midnight starts saying, “that sentence goes back to you.”
They all draw their weapons and fight each other again, until eventually they have Daylight by a cliff, even though Daylight is ridiculously strong, just like them, she manages to hold on effortlessly.
“Get her, Dawn!” Dusk shouts as Dawn stands closest to her.
Dawn suddenly builds anger with her, she puts her sword back, but with the crack on the ground getting worse, it causes both her and Daylight to fall and grip the ground that they were standing on.
But as Dawn manages to get up, she tries her best to get Daylight, but suddenly a giant like crystal lands where they are, with Dawn managing to get up Daylight with Morning and Dusk’s help, and from here is where the crystal begins to crack, then it explodes even, with some of its shards flying everywhere.
They manage to duck down, but with Dawn and Daylight still being right near each other, Dawn moves her head out of the way just enough for her to be okay, but Daylight who lets her hands go from Dawn’s grip, gets hit with one of the shards.
“Dae-mi!” Midnight shouts.
Dawn immediately tries to help her as Daylight says, “why did you grip my hand for so long, I could barely move..”
“My bad, Daylight.” Dawn says, still helping her out.
"Oh gosh!" Night holds onto Evening as they all watch and feel the mountain shaking and cracking.
Then suddenly everything turns to white…
