7. A week later...
During the night time, Dawn is sitting with Dusk on some pieces of stone. Dawn sits there with her elbow on her knees, looking distraught enough for Dusk to say, “are you okay? You’ve been like this ever since we got our crystals changed, are you alright?”
He places his hand on her shoulder, "are you experiencing something else, menstrual even?"
Dawn sighs, “I’m just trying to revive our memories, some more memories of mine...”
“Why, let the crystal do that, that is the way our Creator is speaking to us, that is what Lady Maldu said, it will come back to us in due time, don't force it,” he scoffs, "you're acting like me in a way."
Dawn slightly tilts her head to him, "so I'm being dramatic...?" With a slight smile on her face.
"Ah, at least you're smiling, and...Yes."
"Whatever Dusk." Dawn brushes him off playfully, trying to keep the sudden smile on her face."
Suddenly Morning shows up, wearing her peace outfit, which is a long white opening blouse with black leggings underneath. Her hair is in a white ponytail, with a black necklace on and white gloves, along with black earrings and black boots.
She starts saying, “Dusk, Lady Maldu wants to speak with you.”
"Oh, okay," he gets up, turning to Dawn and saying, "hey Dawn, don’t let anything get to you, okay, it's going to be alright.”
Dusk smiles at her then leaves, then Morning stays with Dawn for a bit as she watches Dusk walk away, saying to her, “you’re troubled because of your lost memories, something you’ve lost and are trying to get back, at least yours is just lost and can be found, not like me, where I lost someone I loved for good.”
“Really, who? If you don’t mind me asking...”
"I’ve said before but…My twin sister, Adalina, was poisoned by some sick creature, made to harm our people.” “I’m sorry that happened, Morning.”
“No need, we are warriors now, it’s time to put our haunting past away, this is what Twilight is missing out you know.”
“He’s missing this reasoning?”
“Yes, he goes on about it all the time, it's so annoying." She scoffs at the thought.
Dawn just lets out a little “hmph” before Morning breaks the sudden silence with, "I gotta go get some sleep, see you in the morning Dawn."
As Dawn looks up at Morning getting up and walking away, she suddenly stops Morning, saying to her, “I want to say that I’m sorry about not handling my time, I know it must have thrown you off, I’ll try to take control of it as soon as I handle this.”
Morning nods, glancing over at Dawn and saying, “It’s okay, I understand what you and Dusk are going through, get some rest too, okay?”
“I will, good night.”
“Goodnight.” Morning says this, then proceeds to walk away in the distance.
As Morning leaves, Dawn begins to walk around, walking by a glowing tree that is sparkling for green lights, then she turns around to see a tall, handsome, dark skin man, leaning against the tree on the other side.
“Midnight…?” She remembers.
He turns around saying, “hello, Dawn.” With a smile on his face.
Midnight is a 6’4 and twenty-six-year-old man with bushy white hair and black highlights, a black scar on his face, and he is wearing a gold necklace while having on armored black trousers and a navy shirt underneath his armor. He has black boots and dark blue gloves on.
He has his chakram weapon with him and knives like Dawn, he also has on bracelets, lots of them.
Dawn asks him, “Are you on your way to fight?”
“Soon, in about an hour, how are you and Dusk?”
“We are starting to feel like ourselves again.”
“HalleluYah, that’s very good.” Midnight lets a smile come upon his face that is so pleasing, Dawn can’t help but smile back because of it.
Midnight continues to hold a calm demeanor as they talk, his voice is deep, but soft instead of deep and raspy like Twilight.
Speaking of Twilight, in the distance he is riding towards them on his dark horse, with a shawl of gold on it.
“Dawn, go inside your home, Twilight’s coming, I don't have time to explain any other thing with him about our calling.”
“Oh okay.”
Dawn runs back to her house, inside her room, and as soon as she closes the wooden door, through the window to the side, she watches as Twilight shows up in his warrior outfit, wearing his golden mask, having his long hair half up half down, with a long gold and brown shirt with brown trousers on, and shoulder padded armor.
He has his brown boots on, and a golden cape with his long sword and his bow and arrow out. He still has his shawl around him as well, keeping his mystery a part of his apparel.
“Twilight, I need you to be careful with how you’re treating Dusk and Dawn, leave them alone as of now until everything comes back, I know this is all so strange, but we need to give them their space as of now.”
“I couldn’t care less, I know Dawn remembers what she did.”
“She doesn't."
He scoffs, "and how do you know?"
"I’m the strongest of you all, I watch you all when my mother isn't around, and you will listen to what I have to say, got it?”
“You’re only a year older than me, is that what this strength is all about? Mama's boy?”
“I didn’t say anything about age...Pitiful one.”
“Oh, is that right? My bad...”
“Takashi…” Midnight crosses his arms, for sure he would fight Takashi right now if he could.
“Okay, apologies.” Takashi says, as if just trying to brush this conversation off.
“Alright, I’m off to do my diligence, do not cause anymore trouble, heed to my words, okay?”
"Yes, I hear you."
Midnight eyes him, then he leaves with his pet Roid who was sleeping on the side.
Dawn gets up from kneeling at the window, seeing that he is coming towards the home.
"Damnit." She whispers to herself.
Twilight comes to her doorway, leaning against her wall, where he says, “hello lying warrior...”
“What makes you think I’m lying…”
“Is your memory coming back yet? Or has it ever left you.”
"My memory has never left me...” She stands straight before him, ready to deal with this.
Knuckling his hands together, he softly shouts at her, "you know about our plan Dawn, stop lying! It was Dusk who went up that mountain, you never went, why does no one understand this?"
"What? We literally came back to the same place at the same time, Morning could tell you that."
"Morning doesn't even like me, she'll lie on me regardless."
"Oh really?" Dawn crosses her arms.
He walks towards her while she backs away from him, with him saying, “I need to understand, Dawn, why are you lying to me?”
“I'm not lying! Just tell me what I need to know!”
“I shouldn’t have to tell you! You already know!” As his voice starts booming, Dawn tenses up, then she softly says, stuttering a little, “well I don’t, okay!”
“Then you have to pay the consequences...Because I let this get to anyone else but our Creator above...”
Seeing him feeling for his sword, Dawn takes out hers as well.
Twilight then takes out his sword and swings at her, then she attacks him, and they start fighting each other, wrecking her place.
He manages to push her against the wall after a while, cutting her badly, then saying to her, “you can’t fight me, I’ll always win, just like all the rest of you!”
“What is wrong with you! Why can’t you just leave the past! I don't want to be a part of whatever plan you have!”
"How do you know I made a plan..?”
Dawn stops for a second, frowning at him, but then her brows quickly lift as if it was a memory that just came back.
"I don't know why...I…" She says this, but seeing him smirking at her, she attacks him again as they continue fighting, but Twilight grabs her by the neck, lifting her against the wall, saying, “I should…” Twilight’s strong hands leave Dawn almost breathless, but he puts her down saying, "I need you to follow me, now.”
Coughing on and on, Dawn finally stops, saying while trying to catch her breath, "I will go...With you for now…But I truly mean it…I think it’s just now coming back.”
“How long is it supposed to take?” Twilight questions.
“Two days…Then everything should make sense.”
A little takes over as Twilight just stares back at her, then he blurts out, “just get behind me on my horse.”
“Why?” Dawn questions.
“Just follow me.”
Dawn does so, and the both of them make it outside, trying to make sure know one is coming their way after the fight that just happened.
Together, they ride out on the horse, with Twilight taking Dawn to a lodge like home surrounded by water, since it sits on a cliff, viewing the beautiful island, seeing across a beautiful waterfall as well, with its strong blue light enlightening everything it views.
“This is where I came from, this is where I stay when I need time to myself, and for some reason I saw Night come this way, past those trees next to you. If you go where he went, maybe that will wake you up and help you.”
"I’m not going back there by myself, come with me if this be the case.”
“You have to do it on your own Dawn, that's why I’m glad you took your weapon with you.” He looks over at her, looking at it.
Dawn lifts it up, saying, “I took this to protect myself from you! You attacked me first.”
“Quiet here, Dawn...” Twilight shushes her and then stares off in the distance, “that waterfall is the Sirenous Waterfall, this island's famous landmark as you know, and where we are to bathe and cleanse our clothes, it’s also the area where we first talked to each other.”
“Huh...I thought it was when.”-
Twilight turns back to her, "you're saying that I'm wrong?"
Dawn shakes her head, looking away from him, crossing her arms and saying, "no..."
“If you walk those woods and follow Night, you will find a lot of your answers, like this place being where Daylight was last.”
“I'd rather we just find Daylight."
"That's how we got in this mess in the first place."
"Right...But we still need to find our fellow warrior."
"We will, Dawn."
Twilight turns around saying, “I’m telling every bit of truth, go into the woods and find more of your answers, try every day if you need to, if you do, I’ll stop bothering you about this whole thing we had, and I’ll apologize about your bruised neck. That's if you really can't remember...”
Dawn looks to the woods saying, “I can't...Only some things do I remember.”
“It'll help, Dawn, now it ends near our homes, you’ll end up back there eventually, I’ll probably show up if I have to.”
Twilight hands her a glowing light stick saying, “you’re going to need this, and use your crystal to help see as well.”
Dawn grabs it and proceeds off into the woods, until she stops, turning to Twilight and saying, "even if I did remember everything already, how you are acting about it, still doesn't seem right...So I'll keep quiet, until all of us warriors can find out."
"Well you are going to be angry once you find out it was you first."
"Yeah, for personal reasons..." Saying this, she walks into the forest, leaving that conversation, at the moment.
