3. Six Years later...

With Dusk now being nineteen and Dawn eighteen, along with their five year old baby sister named Dae. It came the time where their training ended, from all was explained about the warriors, to where they became comfortable to fight and became comfortable in their newly gained power.

They praised the Creator for this, even celebrating the end of all their training.

As the Nokinians are enjoying one of their many festivals, the one of lights, food, and traditional Nokinian dancing, especially with the long purple and gold dresses and shawls of the women, with the men in elegant suits of red and gold, and the same types of dresses for little girls and suits for the boys. 

Dusk and Dawn come together to dance with their family, singing and giving praise to the Creator. As Dawn is dancing with her little sister Dae, Dawn continues to dance around on her own, breaking away from everyone else, and effortlessly having the floor.

With Marlo and Suna sitting on their throne chairs, the two of them drinking and talking together, Suna puts her drink down and leans over to Marlo saying, "Dawn is surely enjoying her time, isn't she?" Suna sits back, "If only she were able to stay and get married, let Dusk go off instead."

Marlo frowns, "I think both of them being warriors is fine, after all, it is our Creator’s choice."

"My sovereign," Suna turns directly to him, serious as ever, "we don't know how long this mysterious fight will last, will she be back in time to marry by the age of twenty five? If she doesn't, will it disrupt our rule and make us incapable of presenting our daughter to the other Areanean nations?"

"Suna! Please," he turns to her, "it is our Creator’s will, that's what matters; if it is by His will, it will be done."

While saying this, Suna stays quiet and continues drinking again, shouting to her maiden, "hand me another one please!"

The maiden nods and does so as Suna turns back to the people, watching everyone enjoy themselves during this Festival of Giving.

With Dawn greatly enjoying herself, her excessive beauty enchants a lot of the men there, especially how she, as the princess of Nokinia, loved to be around the people so much, more than Dusk during this time.

As the guards have to keep blocking the men from getting into her area, Dusk blocks them off, stepping before the guards saying, "I'll have you all executed if you think you can step foot in front of my sister, your princess."

"Let my sister dance! Before I have your head hanging beside my pocket!" 

As they apologize and get taken away, Dawn walks up to him and starts saying to him, "thank you for that Dusk, but I know about my surroundings, I know they couldn't get to me, mother and father would not allow it." 

"Not all your surroundings apparently. There were only two guards there, where are the rest?"

"We're stronger now Dusk, I don't need that many of them being in my way while I am dancing."

"You always need protection regardless, Dawn."

"Just let me dance with Dae, Dusk please, before I bring out some of my healing smoke again..."

Dusk angrily whispers to Dawn, "Dawn? No way you are smoking again? You are a princess??"

"I'm not going to continue Dusk, don't worry, it's just that these bad dreams have been getting to me, but I'm praying about it, I will overcome them."

He holds her hands, "I hope you mean your word on that, we can leave at any time, please, be well enough to handle our new position."

"I will be Dusk." Dawn replies back softly, with Dae now tugging at Dawn's dress saying, "I love this song that's playing...Let's dance sister." 

Her tiny and adorable voice makes them both smile, but Dusk loses his before Dawn does, causing Dawn to keep a small smile instead.

As Dusk walks away, Dawn continues to dance with Dae. 

A few minutes later, over in the trees across from the ceremony, Dawn sees what looks like a figure of a man, a young man, in dark clothing, unfitting of the ceremony, "who is that...??" 

Dawn steps back from it, ready to walk away completely, but the figure quickly walks into the trees behind her before she can actually leave . 

"Big sis, is everything okay?" Dae curiously asks.

Dawn snaps out of it and walks back over to the party, "yes Dae, it's just that...Did you see someone in the trees across from us?" 

"No, I just see everybody dancing." 

"Well, I guess it was just someone at the festival I would say as of now, but...That didn't look right at all." 

Dusk comes up to Dawn, taking her to the side saying, "Is everything okay?" 

"I'm fine, Dusk, I just thought I saw something again..." 

"Are you sure? Dawn, You look like you're about to pass out, here, come sit down, maybe you've been dancing too much." 

Dawn sits down and takes a drink, as she finishes, things around her start to become a blur, only seeing but herself with not much sound at all, almost muffled, the complete opposite of what it really is. 

"What?! What is this?!" 

Dawn gets up from the open tent and walks in the opening field of where she was dancing. She looks around and sees the mysterious figure surrounding her, and it starts walking towards her, but as she tries to run, her feet become stuck, as if her feet are sinking in quicksand. 

The figure snatches the shawl off of her, causing her to fall to the ground. 

"Dawn, are you okay?" Dusk’s voice slowly comes back, still sounding muffled until it doesn’t.

Dawn gets up with everyone looking at her, with Dusk helping her up. 

She starts saying, "something is here...?" 

"What did you see?" Dusk quickly asks.

Marlo and Suna run up to her with Marlo saying, "what happened, Dawn?"

Suddenly, out of nowhere blackish mist starts to swarm the land, the sky becomes dark and small and tall heart shaped creatures start to swarm the land like a swarm of bugs. 

All of this happening in an instant.

Everyone starts to run and hide as it overcomes all their stuff. 

Then earthquakes start to shape the land, and now people are passing out as the mist swarms them. 

As they hide in the palace, they try to hover together, and keep themselves from being seen. The panic takes over in a hurry as Marlo tells everyone to take shelter, with the guards escorting everyone out as much as they can without trying to get hurt themselves.

But some of them do, and some of the people too.

For about thirty minutes this ravaging occurs, with Marlo, Suna, Dusk, Dawn, and Dae, along with all in the palace feeling the sorrow of it all.

"They are here!" 

People start screaming as the Adenian creatures attack people, tearing people up, blood splattering, and the darkness now surrounding the screams of some people still trying to get away. 

Until...

The red dragon from before flies within the city, killing and burning the creatures. 

As the quakes stop, the dragon sits outside the palace, amidst the destruction that occurred outside the palace gates. 

Dusk looks out at the dragon sitting, watching even as the sky becomes lighter. Dusk walks towards it, and as he stands beside it, he signals for Dawn to come over to it as well. 

She walks out amid the destruction towards the dragon. "It's calling for us, isn't it Dusk." 

"Yes, it's helping us, not here for any harm whatsoever as we see, it killed the creatures." 

"So, are we to go back to the Southern Island?" 

Dusk smiles at Dawn as they pet the dragon, with everyone watching, still in shock about what just occurred.

"It is a part of the devastation, we must go and be a part of the warriors. It’s time." Dusk states bluntly.

With people now praying all over with loud cries, they all look out and watch them befriend this dragon as Marlo, Suna, and Dae along with all the palace workers pray along too.

Dusk and Dawn walk back over to their mother, father, and sister, they make sure to say their goodbyes, hugging Dae tightly, appreciating their hardworking servants, and telling them that their work will get done.

"We will be back." Dusk states before getting on the dragon.

"Hopefully soon..." Suna crosses her arms, shifting her eyes to Dawn before walking back over to the dragon, with Dawn nodding to them all, getting on the dragon as well.

They wave to their family, as Marlo, Suna, and Dae wave back to them during this sudden transformation, as the both of them grab their fallen crystals and ride off on the red dragon to Southern Island.
