"So, you have that meeting you were expecting with the boss right now. Although it is much more intimate than what I had originally expected, I can't say I mind it very much." Saint teased playfully. His voice was heavy, seductive and his breath tickled Heart's face again.
"You are going to be the perfect little slave. I can't wait."
The words sunk in and Heart realized after a second, remembering back to what he had just said a minute ago his entire body shot up in surprise, his ears and face red.
Saint watched him tense, watched his body reverberate with shock and in anticipation, he pulled him into his arms even tighter as Heart flung himself into Saint out of shock at the news of him being Heart's boss.
Saint caught him effortlessly and chuckled.
"See, if I had known you were going to be so excited to be called my slave. I would have called you it back in the bathroom that day."
Heart held still, their mouths inches away from each other. His blood pounded through his body as if it was on fire.
Heart pushed himself away thinking he would have to push heavily to get free, but Saint let go easily. Heart stepped back, his entire face flushed hot and his eyes darting around like a deer caught and looking for an escape.
"Um, thank you for your kind offer to let me do my orientation here with you."
"But I think I will go and do it with the other interns now as it's only the polite thing to do." He bowed and turned to leave. He was already pulling on the door handle to leave when Saint cleared his throat.
"Wait...."
"You don't want to work here then?" Saint asked.
"What do you mean?" Heart stopped and turned, surprised.
"Well, we don't need two paid interns, we already hired those. What I needed was a personal assistant..."
"A slave..."
"Really." He said, amused.
"Same hours as before of course... Same experience for your resume, but more money. Where you have absolutely no freedom to say No." Saint chuckled and stared down at Heart, his eyes boring into him.
"Sounds fun, right?" He smirked.
A flash of desire flickered for a moment in his eyes, then he shut down and his expression was perfectly schooled again.
"I figured you were perfect for the job. After all, don't you need the money?" Saint querked an eyebrow inquiringly as if interested in his answer but then turned away.
"Ah, sorry to disappoint you. I tried out for this job because I thought it would just be a normal intern at the architecture and business firm. I mean this... It isn't even my first major, and I am in my second last year of college, so it might be better if I spend my time studying instead. I'm only twenty-two I doubt I have the qualifications you need for a personal servant... I mean assistant." Heart realized he was rambling, but he wanted Saint to drop his desire for this.
"Oh, no, you are qualified," Saint said firmly.
"How do you know? What are the qualifications... Tell me and I promise I will let you know if I possess them." Heart offered politely but really looking for a way out.
"I only have one qualification for this job opening," Saint said.
"What is it?" Heart asked.
"You," Saint said, gazing into his eyes dark.
"What... Does that...?" Heart stammered confusedly.
"Since you seem to be failing to grasp the situation, Heart." He stepped around the table and stopped his body centimetres from him.
"The requirement, the one thing my slave must be... I.S. Y.O.U" Saint said calmly but his words were heavy and possessive each syllable like a knife to the chest.
The words hit into Heart and slithered over his body, causing him to shiver with excitement.
For one split second Heart let himself get caught in the wave of pleasure at that thought, that this beautiful, powerful man would want him. He allowed that heady power to wash over him, pull him as a power outside himself drew him towards Saint. Then as if the spell was broken the tingling stopped the feeling ended, leaving him feeling listless inside.
'Wake up Heart what world are you living in? A man like this... No... A man.. Of all things.'
Heart clenched his fists. Then pushed away from him and plastered a fake smile on his face.
"Thank you so much for your generous offer, but I will have to decline your offer. After all, Sorry for the inconvenience. I do hope you fill the position soon. Have a nice evening." He turned back to walk out of the office...
But before he could even reach the door, Saint stopped him with a low unhappy growl,
"Ah, see, now that's a pity, so many people have to suffer for no reason, just because you are acting like such a child."
Heart spun around surprised at Saint's words and asked innocently.
"Suffer?"
"What do you mean people will suffer?"
Saint's eyes lit up as if he had already gotten his way.
"Ah yes."
"That's right, you didn't know... I am your building owner." He walked around towards the front of the desk and smiled ironically while nodding his head.
Heart scoffed.
"What, you don't believe me?"
